They are advertising on their website Sausages or Gamon at £4.75 on the lunch menu. When arriving on Saturday, we were told this is not on the lunchtime menu. Isn't that against the trades descriptions act advertising something that doesn't exist?

Sadly the roast dinner consisted of cold roast potatoes, carrots you could break your teeth on and reconstituted meat. We waited an over average amount of time as we were advised we were waiting for the potatoes to be done. How they turned up cold...More

Don't you read your reviews? They are awful and only you can change things and, boy, do they need changing! People expect a meal to be edible, when they have paid good money but,, sadly, that is not the case at the Windmill. I have...More

Had a meal here one Saturday evening. Found the menu to be a little limited, and the venue much smaller than I expected, however the food was still good - well... the fish and chips were very good. Home cooked fat chips are worth going...More

Stopped of yesterday for Sunday lunch, and the food was amazing. This was a really friendly pub and had a great atmosphere. After chatting to the staff, we found out that they've only recently taken over the pub. Certainly would happily call again.

Update your internet details as the menu shown relates to the landlord, Michael Hills, who left over a year ago. Your A board states "New Menu" and "New Team", but the Menu online remains unchanged. People, nowadays, like to read a menu, and the prices,...More

This is a smashing pub restaurant with new owners. They use much of their own home grown produce for the restaurant with the result that the food is supremely fresh. Eggs, ham and other local produce taste better than I've had before.
The staff are friendly and incredibly welcoming. The pub has a deck over the river and a lot of outside tables . It is set off a quiet road and our loudest dining companions were the ducks! The menu has something for everyone without being too large to manage. The portion sizes are huge and the prices very reasonable. I'd recommend this pub restaurant to anyone and will be a frequent visitor as it's not too far from home.
