Visited with friends for cake. I had Victoria Sandwich which contained fresh cream and was deliciously light. My friend had Raspberry and White Chocolate Flapjack which she said was really good. The hot chocolate was like drinking an amazing chocolate mousse. Limited menu but the...food being served looked very good and good value. Would recommend and will visit again.More

Called here on our way to Cromer. Our first visit. But won't be our last. We can definitely recommend the breakfast. Ample portions very well cooked top class ingredients. Dogs and customers made to feel really welcome. The coffee is good too.

Glad to see a nice busy cafe but sadly found a couple of the staff to be rude and abrupt on our arrival. We'd had a long journey and were looking forward to a hearty brekkie, we'd never been here before so didn't know the...procedure for ordering, ie. sit down first, order at the till or what. Was about to ask when a girl whisked passed looking at us and shouted Alright? (As in, are you alright I'm assuming, as I was probably looking a bit confused) She then went behind the counter without waiting for us to answer, whilst girl on till just said, eat in or takeaway?! We actually felt rather awkward and in the way so left rather than stay to endure more attitude. Will go back another time in the hope to try the food which looked really good as it was coming out.More

Owners retired and the existing chef has taken over the business, now known as Watsons. Same friendly staff and excellent food. Much the same menu.

Visited with my family for brunch. 2 of us ordered scones. My daughter asked for cheese which they didn't have only cherry we said ok. When they arrived they were so solid and hard and dry they were akin to missiles. We tried to slice...them but could see they were inedible. The waitress said did we want them warmed up! No thanks I said and she took them away offering no alternative. My husbands breakfast bap was ok and coffees too. Overall bad service and unprofessional. Won't be going back. Shame as we are locals.More

Popped into the Sugar and Spice cafe for breakfast. A queue was spilling out the door which is a good sign for a Sunday morning! I ordered the bacon and hash brown breakfast bap and the size and price was very, very fair for the...very large portion that it ended up being! A lovely cafe, my only criticism was in regard to the wait for tea and food after our order. But the staff were very friendly and its a testament to its local popularity.More

Home made cake was delicious and good coffee, visit marred by rude girl behind counter, an older lady was dealing then teenage girl interrupted abruptly shouting questions and making us feel rushed and like an inconvenience. Shame really It seems a nice place.

We are in Norfolk twice a year and often visit Sugar and Spice when we are in this area. Quirky decor and great food, although the format has changed since last year and all new staff, I assume as a result of lockdown. On my...last visit the coffee was tepid at best but panini for lunch was perfect. Had some coffee cake to take away and it was an absolute joy, as always.More

Can't say enough Breakfast was very enjoyable and there's plenty of choice for different times of the day too. Breakfast, lunch & homemade cakes! Definitely worth a visit!
