Attracted by the historic appearance in a nice setting we turned around for morning tea. Excellent friendly service accompanied by local information and topped off with wholesome food well presented. Our rest break lasted over an hour as we were so comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent. Eggs cooked to perfection :) Very well presented and everything tasted delicious. All of the cabinet food looked fresh and tasty. The surroundings are lovely. And service with a smile. You can’t get better than that. Thank you.

Went on a day trip to Kaikoura and stopped here for coffee and food. The PERFECT place to stop with a great outdoor seating area, excellent coffee and beautifully made and presented food. Worth a day trip for lunch.
