Ate hear for a 60th birthday. The staff were great. Attentive, informed and gentle in their demeanor. Food was superb with plenty of local produce. We had the tasting menu, would definitely recommend. The beef was the best I've tasted.

Don't be put off by preconceived notions; you will be able to relax and be well treated in a very relaxed atmosphere. Stuffiness is not a Derbyshire trait.
