One of the top three in town. The manager is friendly, knowledgable. And chatty, 15 choices on the menu, good delicious and I’d thoroughly remember eating here

Food was average at best, dissapointed after reading positive reviews, steak cooked well but pepper sauce was inedible, sea bass looked as if it was steamed, tasted nice but the accompanying ratatouille was a red sauce with bits of vegetables in it. The famous cheesecake...mentioned in previous reviews was advertised in a number of flavours was a generic cheesecake with shop bought squeezy sauce poured on top to distinguish the flavours. On a positive note the ambience was nice and the staff were really lovelyMore
Have eaten here for 9 years now and always a good meal. Bruschetta and fishcakes to start (superb). Followed my the duck and sea bass. Both v good though the plum sauce slightly overpowered the duck and the sea bass could have been bettered season....Shared the cheesecake (divine). So a v good meal once again but a few v minor observationsMore
Whilst on holiday, I attended "15" for a meal with friends and the food certainly didn't disappoint. Apparently named "15" because the restaurant has 15 mains and 15 starters on its menu. I ordered the crusted peppercorn sirloin with green peppercorn sauce. It was a...peppercorn kind of evening. The medium/rare steak I ordered was definitely more towards the rare side of the request, but still edible and delicious. The meal came with fresh vegetables, but only two portions, when there were three in the party - however, more veg was offered to the table (with that offer taken up immediately). As someone with an incredibly sweet-tooth, and who generally looks at the back end of the menu before looking anywhere else - I can confirm the sweets were really nice too. Large portions - and all freshly made on the premises by the chef. I had the freshly baked Carrot Cake with a velvety, creamy-licious frosting. The carrot cake was amazing, but tasted even better when the server recommended a sprinkling of cinnamon. Great puds...(Albeit I was slightly disappointed there was none of the legendary lemon meringue pie on the particular night we attended - apparently it was to be on later in the week.) Really great service by the member of serving staff. And when I say, "the" member of serving staff, I literally mean ONE member of serving staff on the floor. She did an absolutely amazing job juggling a very busy restaurant and appeared to keep everyone very happy and well looked after. We were offered comp tapas when we were kept waiting (just a tip - don't give two tapas when there are three in the party - it's not ideal to play 'rock, paper, scissor' in a restaurant, in order to settle who has to sit out the comps...). But a nice touch to look after us. Despite the lack of serving staff on the evening, this is one of the better restaurants in Caleta de Fuste, and from my experience, well worth a visit. Great mains, great puds and great service. And if it's on and you have it, let me know what the legendary lemon meringue pie tastes like...?!?More
What an absolutely fantastic meal. The steaks were fantastic and cooked to perfection, the presentation was perfect. So glad we only had the two courses as the portion sizes were great. The desserts were some of the best I have had (carrotcake) and my partner...had the cheesecake- which she said that "it was to die for"). If ypu are on the island then I would have no hesitation in highly recommending visiting this restaurant. xtra mention to Beatriz as she was fantastic and could not do enough for us.More
Meal was so bad we ended up didn't pay for our food just the drinks Think they had replacement chef in Other complaints there too Had read good reviews previously
We’ve used this restaurant numerous times over the years and always found it first rate with skilled Chefs and a rotating menu using fresh quality ingredients. We decided to book a table in advance as it was notoriously difficult to get in. Table secured we...got there (it had moved onto the main drag opposite Fado) bang on time to be met by a lovely polite girl who told us that that we weren’t booked in, so we showed her the messenger confirmation. Don’t know why this was an issue as there were only 4 others there!! However, we eventually got the empty table we wanted (think she’d been told to fill the window seats to make the place look busy). The menu was along the lines it used to be ie 15 items on starters and 15 on mains. When we checked the last time it had been rotated, it had not changed since at least April 2023. This flies in the face of the whole concept of the original restaurant - a rotating menu based on its popularity. The original restaurant was noted for its refinement. This was not refined!! The food:- we started with ribs in a honey and mustard sauce. They were ok but could have been warmer and crisped up as the were a little bit soggy. The sauce was anaemic and (out of a jar I think) splashed over the top of the ribs. For main course I had devils steak with a spicy chilli oil, roasted potatoes with curried aioli and my wife had pork tenderloin medallions with cider chorizo potato rosti . Got to say the steak was cooked exactly as I asked, medium rare. The most striking thing about it however was its size - large house brick. Tasted ok but the chilli oil did it no favours; watery and cold. The roast potatoes were dry and actually potato discs pinned down with a cocktail stick and some aioli put on top. My wife’s pork dish was also reasonably well cooked but, like the steak, could have fed two people. A bit over facing for her. The rosti was more like a potato stew because the sauce had reduced it to an unappetising slush. None of it felt like it had come “hot off the plate” and we noted that the chef was bringing the dishes himself from somewhere at the rear of the building and leaving them on the bar!! All in all a bit of a wet blanket. The new owners are making the most of the original 15’s reputation and getting found out!! (See the other reviews). The staff were lovely and friendly but don’t go there expecting any form of fine dining.More
Looking forward to this highly recommended restaurant. The food was very poor, the steak was the size of a house brick and was still breathing it was disgusting. The sauce was like the gunk seen in the film Men in Black and was cold and...tasteless. The staff were great but they acknowledged that the chef was a replacement. I said that they should close it until a replacement chef is found, avoid until they get their act together.More
We have been to restaurant twice now & each time the food has been delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Can't rate this place high enough. The service was just the best. My wife was a little disappointed with the wine, the staff picked up on it straight away we didn't really say anything. They brought over free replacement, and a few samples of other...wine for her to taste. When ordering food they were accommodating in changing the menu slightly and suggesting alternatives. When the food arrived, it was very good. A nice touch as it was new years eve was a pack on every table with hats hooters silly wigs and stuff. Really got the evening off to a good start. Definitely 5 stars. Thank you.More
Well what can I say , we booked for New Year's Eve back in January and this place has always been my favourite restaurant in Caleta but under the new owners it's a shadow of its former self :( we arrived to be greeted by...a lovely young lady who's name I forget who sat us down and brought menus etc but to be honest that's as good as it got ! The food was dreadful !!my wife had pork with rostie potatoes which were burnt black , the potties and veg were cold and I had my go to dish which the waitress did say was different to what it used to be but the chicken in 5 onion and satay was dreadful !! The chicken is basically a chicken escalope and the dice had zero onion and was stodgy ! I am gutted because this was my favourite restaurant and loved the food but we won't be going back I'm afraid ! I felt really sorry for the waitress because I think she knows it's rubbish now ! She deserves better and I hope she finds somewhere that serves better food to work at ! 😟More
Been visiting this restaurant for the last three years, but was disappointed this time since it has moved location . The food was not the same standard. The fish cake starter was poorly presented, dry and lacking taste. The main course pork sauce had no...taste and the veg and pototoes were over cooked and looked re heated. The steak I had was chewy . It has always been fantastic previously . We didn’t have a dessert as the famous cheesecake in the chiller didn’t look anywhere near how it use to be. So disappointing as we usually eat there at least three nights each visit. I don’t know what’s happened but it’s not the same .More
Booked especially last year to make sure we could get in but really disappointed with the meal. Really hard, dry potatoes l,veg not cooked properly and the worst was the cheesecake that definitely wasn't the fantastic cheesecakes we've always had. Honeycomb burnt I wouldn't have served...it! It might look nice moving upstairs but a big let down food wise and service to be honest. Really need ot sorting as always loved this restaurant but felt really let down today.More
It’s not often I feel inspired to write a review, but 15 makes me. We’ve been visiting CDF for a while but came across 15 by accident when visiting the bars underneath it. If I read some of the reviews on here, we never would...have bothered. Now firstly I do agree that they need more waiting staff. Poor Emma was run ragged , but still managed to provide service with a smile. She couldn’t have been more helpful or knowledgeable about their menu. We had 2 devilled steaks-we upgraded to fillet on Emma’s recommendation. Yes a bit more expensive , and I’m sure the sirloin would have been just as good quality, but we personally prefer fillet. It was served perfectly with beautiful al dente vegetables and local potatoes. I can honestly say , we were hard pushed to think of a better steak we’d had anywhere, and we’ve eaten steak around the world and in many supposedly top steak houses. Now the star of the show for me….. you will not get a better salted caramel cheesecake anywhere!!! So in short, I guess what I’m trying to say is, each to their own, one man’s pleasure is another man’s poison etc. Make your own minds up. But we loved it.More
Went here on our last two days, both times we had excellent food, great service, it’s a lovely place to eat in a relaxed atmosphere, it’s definitely not a burger and fries place, but standard of food was exceptional, definitely worth a visit
