Tasty meal, good home wine, friendly stuff! Family Danas Taverna is in Kamari, I think it is a mistake on the map!

Lovely meal here one evening with fab Greek music from one of the staff (?) playing guitar. Made the experience all the more warm and friendly. Food was delicious and so filling - will go back if we re-visit!

I dined here twice while I was staying in Kamari. I really enjoyed the mixed souvlaki plate! We order swordfish souvlaki the next night because it was caught fresh that day - it was a bit overcooked but still tasty. This place is much better than what you'll find on the busy Kamari beach strip so venture here for a... More

Small family restaurant set back away from the rest. Best service we had whilst staying in Kamari. Live music in the form of a man singing whilst playing the bazouki. We went for the lamb souvlaki and swordfish souvlaki which were very good. The house red was chilled which isn't to our taste but was OK. We were given a... More

The restaurant is a family run business and was at the bottom of the hill we climbed/walked down daily. Following a trip with Thomas Cook upon return we decided to eat here as it was always busy and the menu looked excellent. The food was superb and we had dinner there on 2 more occasions before we left. The service... More

In Kamari for a couple of nights before an island hopping trip, I wanted to find somewhere a bit less brit-tourist and without all the front of house blag that makes it so difficult to have a look through the menu and see what appeals. I'd sort of earmarked Taverna Selada and went to have a look and locate it... More

This is what you want to find in santorini. Perfect when you are tired to spend 50 quids each night. We took some starters, it was good and tasty. We then order a moussaka, 6.50 euros, very decent price for a quality moussaka. Very good and very nice as well.

The food was great . I had the grilled octopus and my boyfriend had the rabbit casserole. To be honest it was one of the best octopus dishes I had . The staff was very friendly and kind. Unlike most of the restaurants we passed by , they did not try to lure us in and convince us that their... More

Family owned so you know you the food is going to be nice! The owner catches the fish daily (when weather is good of course). Pack most nights because they are genuinely good people and don't need to stand outside the restaurant pulling you in like most in Kamari Beach! Food comes with traditional Greek singer as well 👍

Went there for dinner with my boyfriend and we asked for the fish menu for two - Being a fish taverna we expected great Fresh fish. The plate came with kalamaris, sardines, two shrimps, mussels, and one fish. We started tasting the kalamaris and the shrimps and started getting dissapointed: the shrimps are clearly frozen and the kalamaris are blend... More
