We had our work Christmas party here. The calamari was excellent as a starter as well as the ribs! When our set menu was served my chicken was a little dry but I was so impressed by the starters that it did not phase me. Overall the service was fantastic with quick service and the flow of the night was... More

Had breakfast there with family, great food and nothing too much trouble. Nice entertaining views onto the creek watching the water activities. Recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed dining at The Boat Shed Bar. Staff were welcoming, efficient and looked after our large table really well. The food was great and the evening enjoyed by all. Thanks for a great night out. Couldn't have asked for more.

Loved this place. Great atmosphere, good food and service. You can have a meal or just a drink and sit overlooking the paddle boards on the river.

At a recent trip to the Gold Coast we decided to stay with a friend at Currumbin. At the suggestion of a local lady Lisa from Oars Galore we decided to have afternoon drinks and an early dinner before heading home for a rest. The barman (think owner) was one of the wittiest people I've met and nothing was a... More

We stay at Currumbin a few times a year and it's always interesting to see what has changed at the Boatshed. On our first visit this time, the gas was being worked on so only light fare was being served in the restaurant (prepared by the sister cafe business nextdoor). Didn't really matter - it was a lovely day, a... More

Great location. However the food is unusual and not very nice. Strange combinations. The service was friendly. Lovely view of the river obscured by really dirty blinds. I couldn't recommend this restaurant. I guess there is a reason it was totally empty while next door was very busy.

Thank ColinCB
