Second visit and didnt disappoint. Great service, good prices, great quality, great value for money. Portion size just right...so fresh and serving on a chopping board gave it some edge. A hidden gem

We are here twice on our trip and both times the food was absolutely amazing. The first night I had the lamb, it was cooked to perfection. The second night I had an amazing burger. I would definitely look forward to visiting here again.

Quaint surroundings, good traditional music nights and nice food. Chowder used to be fabulous but past few years not so good which is a real pity.More

We ordered some starters, which were lovely, but you don't get a lot for the money. The main courses were similar, I'm not looking for a lot of food but it could have done with being priced cheaper. The chips were not very good compared...More

We stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed. Though we only had soup and bread the quality was super. We had ginger and honey soup and seafood chowder. The accompanying breads were lovely too. We'll be back.

Had a lovely meal here and the atmosphere was great. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We sat by the nice warm fire. Loved the decor in the pub with all the photos, signs and currency notes posted on the walls.
