We ordered a selection of montaditos, croquetas and pork cheeks. Montaditos were very good, especially that they are only 1.5 EUR. Croquetas and pork cheecks were quite good but nothing special. Nevertheless, I recommend to stop by, very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Fantastic food! Service a bit slow but the food quality was fantastic and some great options on the menu. The setting was wonderful too!

We just hopped in randomly and found a place with a nice atmosphere. The food was okay, the meat wasn't very good, had to chew a lot, but the rest was okay, especially the prawns. The staff was nice and the prices are ok too.

This looks like a small tapas bar from the outside but it has a lovely sunny courtyard and room attached to it. Near the famous church at the top of the town the tapas menu is extensive. We had the fried anchovies which were the size of small sardines followed by the lightly battered goats cheese and honey. That and... More

Don Benito Bar de Tapas on top of San Roque (near La Linea and Gibraltar) has to be the top tapas restaurant in the area. We went there when we first stopped in San Roque four years ago and were impressed then. No less so this time! The rustic rooms with a busy bar attached are quite attractive and the... More

The restaurant is set in a nice location and the food is good. We had been here twice before and the service had been poor but both times were very busy. As we had heard good things from others we thought we'd give it one more try but it's the last time as what could have been a nice evening... More

The food arrives faster than light speed and every dish will arrive close to the same time. It is a cheap place to eat and the food is good to eat. One tip order each dish separately to avoid everything on the table at the same time and dishes getting cold.

This is a little, jewel in a lovely setting in the square at the top of the hill in San Roque. We had a delicious meal here and had read before we went that the best way is to order food when you are ready and so this is what we did and each tapas we ordered was as good as... More

It was a very hot day when we ate here so we sat outside. We ordered the tapas but in larger portions. The food was nice but could have been presented better. The pork in pepper sauce was dumped onto a plate of chips. If it had been served on a large plate with a side salad, it may have... More
