Visited her for Saturday lunch with my teenage son. Ordered a burger and a steak, waited 30 minutes before any food arrived, steak was mostly inedible due to fat and gristle but my son said the burger was nice. 2 main meals, a sharer dessert and 3 drinks was £40 which I think is expensive for what we had

We were staying across the road at The Derbyshire (where drinks are very expensive) and called over for a couple of hours. The staff were really friendly, one guy in particular but I didn't take his name!! (he looks like a clean version of the singer James Mcarthy from X factor???) One other thing we both noticed was the place... More

My company use this restaurant often as we use the meeting room. It is normally excellent with staff and food great. This visit was just very disappointing. Busy as usual so not an excuse. The food was of a poor quality with some of our party sending back but not wanting replacement. Normally as I say excellent so this was... More

My first visit to this pub/restaurant, for a family meeting. I found that it was very clean with a pleasant spacious design. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. 5 of us were eating and 4 of the meals were very nice. Unfortunately, my cousin fish and chips were not very pleasant. She told us that the fish tasted dreadful,... More

We were with family for a wedding near by and decided to visit the brewers fayre for a meal. Well, even though it was busy we were soon seated and our orders placed. The food was very reasonabley priced and very tasty. Really good sized portions. In fact even though I had ordered a dessert, I couldn't finish it, a... More

We decided to eat here after a lovely first visit to be served over cooked and cold food. This place has seriously gone downhill and all the manager could say was "the girl on that section is on a trial and 2 staff have rang in sick" very poor excuse for bad service.

Nice tidy pub/restaurant. Good selection on the menu. All the meals arrived together (13) except 1 but they were apologetic and it wasn't too long. Pleasant location and good food.

Convenient as situated next to the Premier Inn. The staff were all very friendly and the restaurant was clean and looked welcoming. We chose the continental breakfast. The bread and pastries were good, as was the cereal/yoghurt selection, but we were a little disappointed with the fresh fruit. Good value at £6.99 each. Yes we would return.

First time in as we normally eat at the outlets when we go. Decided on a sit down pub meal and went for the Sunday Carvery. Soup is included with rolls ....Bonus ! Also if you ask for water you help yourself from the cooler where the coke is which I thought a good idea. Food was good and service... More
