Yes we really did take a ferry to France to have lunch at this restaurant, and returned on the same day as we arrived! We were dropped by the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff which left on Thursday morning and the ferry dropped us back in Plymouth the following evening. It was well worth the trip. We arrived at the... A wonderful meal, in terms of taste and appearance and surroundings and service ..... not to mention price! Strongly recommended. Don't be put off by the rather scruffy location, by a cemetery and in a litter strewn street.

Dined here yesterday as part of the Brittany Ferries Deal. Truly the most magnificent food I have ever eaten. Amazing presentation, Amazing mixtures of tastes (who would of thought red pepper and raspberry?) Friendly Service . Fully deserves its Michelin Star . Merci Beaucoup

The place is weird: mixed decor, we've only seen one woman through our evening meal: she was a hostess, a waitress, a coat checker and a sommelier. The menu is quite expensive but execution is uneven: appetizers were too rich and fatty, and main dishes while decent all came with the same side! A duck, a lamb, and a veal... More

My wife selected this on the basis of an review in the guardian, perhaps targeting passengers on the roscoff ferry, but could not have been better. Wonderful flavours, efficient and friendly service.

We visited on lunch on a Saturday and took a three course relatively expensive lunch menu as the cheap menu is not available on weekends. The restaurant is very conveniently located at the entrance of the town, which allows easy parking, and one may combine a lunch there with a visit of the magnificent nearby chapel where it is possible... Despite mixing up the day of our reservation the very obliging staff fitted us in. We were extremely grateful as the food was so well presented and used local fresh ingredients in innovative and well considered ways. Food is superb We confused our booking day but the restaurant was prepared for us to still eat the following day. Degustation was... More

We visited for a lunch in June 2016. Great experience all round. The greeting was excellent from booking, yes its needed to leaving. Its so refreshing to sit in a restaurant where the seating is well spaced. Do not be put off by the simplicity of the building, its lovely inside. The whole experience of the meal was outstanding, service... More
