Great choice of tapas to suit all tastes. The cheese was especially good. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely wines. Recommend to us by a local lady. Well looked after, left happy and pleasantly full.

LOVED the food and what great hosts. We booked at the last minute so there was limited availability (which is usually a good sign). We were not disappointed. Great food, hospitality and setting. There was live music on this evening which we unable to attend...but given the opportunity to see the venue. We will be returning and recommending to others. We’ve no photos to share because the food wasn’t on the table long enough to take a picture.More
Very glad you enjoyed your visit..🙂 and thankyou for the great review!
We had a delicious lunch, fantastic flavours and the portions were perfect. We had the lunch set menu which had a good range of dishes to choose from and was a great way to try a few different things. Very reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed...the calamari and the patatas bravas. And the cauliflower with harissa and pomegranate. Also, the olives were amazing! We enjoyed it all! We had a lovely table by the window, and the service was really friendly and prompt. Highly recommendedMore
Came here with my mum for lunch on a Saturday. It was very quiet- just us at first and then midway through our meal a couple joined. That suited us well though. The food was amazing and really reasonably priced. In particular, the halloumi with...pea and mint guacamole was gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the broccoli with almonds and the houmous with tabbouleh, tomatoes and pomegranate molasses. The chicken and chorizo paella was very good as well. Good sized portions but not massive. We didn't get dessert and later wished we had as were a bit peckish not long after (also the desserts sounded lovely)More
I’ve been trying to contact them for several days in order to make a reservation. The website indicates that they are open. However the online booking system was unresponsive, an email booking attempt was ignored and calls were unanswered, with no voicemail system in place....I passed the restaurant today and saw a sign displayed saying they were closed for a holiday. Why couldn’t their website, phone service and email system have been set up to inform people that they were closed. Not everybody who may wish to use this restaurant walks past their door regularly. This business needs to have a more professional, customer friendly communication system in place.More
Our online booking system allows you to book directly unless we are closed for holidays. We are open 48 weeks of the year and would be very happy to book you in for another date. I always have many things to do so unfortunately cannot...More
First visit, booked for 11am brunch. Atmosphere and space is nice. Food took 45 mins to arrive, only 2 other customers. I had a hunger headache by then. Food was ok but overall a bit disappointing.
Hi We had 2 tables of 2 in before 12pm and both got their food within 20 mins as I checked on our cctv. Not sure which table you were?
As a party of three, we booked a table for lunch. The venue looks tiny from the front. However it is like a TARDIS once inside. It is tastefully decorated, with comfy chairs. The ladies chose from the lunchtime menu. Choosing Calamari to start with...and Paella as their main. I went off the main menu. Choosing Boquerones, pain a tomato, Gamberone a ajillo, then the slow cooked lamb. All enjoyed with a bottle of White Rioja. The service was excellent even though it was relatively quiet. The only down side is at present it only opens Thursday to Sunday. But with quality food like this. It's popularity will increase.More
My partner & I ate here last night after a recommendation having moved up from London. I have to say the trip to Otley from Roundhay was worth it. Absolutely fabulous food and attentive service. Some of the best tapas we've tasted (apart from Seville...(close though) - but that's not a fair comparison, really). We particularly liked the Baked Camembert and the Tortilla Espanola. We can also highly recommend the Dark & Stormy cocktail! I've read some reviews here where people think it's expensive. Let me tell you, coming from London, you guys up here don't know how lucky you are. We thought it was really good value, and it had a great ambience. We'll be back again, that's for sure.More
Fantastic evening, was recommended by friends to visit this little gem of a restaurant .. the place is really stylish, staff welcoming & service spot on .. Menu is really comprehensive with a selection of really good Pinxtos & Tapas standards .. BUT .. our...favourites had to be the Specials board with delicious Lamb & Beef dishes. Lamb in Apricots & Almonds was to die for .. our friends had a Steak sharer board cooked to perfection .. 2 jugs of traditional Sangria , yes with a traditional Brandy Schnapps & Cointreau included , went down very well .. After eating downstairs we caught the Jazz band that we’re playing in the Upstairs restaurant..Speaking to staff they have really great live music regularly in the upstairs restaurant All in all the perfect evening & would highly recommend itMore
After hearing such good reviews left disappointed. Really small portions for the price limited veggie options. Lacking in flavour expected so much more from here. Not sure we would visit again.
Limited veggie options?! We have 14 veggie dishes on our menu currently. Not sure where you were eating..certainly wasn't Tapas and Tunes!
I’m sad to say not the greatest of experiences. The food wasn’t good at all. Service was also really poor. We were waiting ages for our food.
We went for a birthday celebration, after looking at the menu on line. Had to give credit card details on booking £40. The menu given to us bore no resemblance to the on line menu. We ordered the dishes, when they arrived the dishes were...meagre to say the least. We went in with an appetite and came out still feeling hungry. The portions were very small that includes all dishes, especially the so called main dishes. For £25 per head it was over priced and the dinner menu was very restricted. When the waitress came at the end and asked how it was I said we were very disappointed , she just took the dishes away. Nobody came out to ask why, so we paid left. That meal was not sufficient for the prices charged. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.More
Our menus in our website are exactly the same as the dishes we serve. We have 35 different tapas dishes priced from £3.95 to £12 with a sharing board at £22. Most customers order 3 tapas which can cost as little as £18 and our...More
You REALLY need to visit Tapas and Tunes. Fantastic food, great ambience and superb Friday night music @ JazzClub. Can’t recommend enough; so pleased we have found such a gem of a place to chill and enjoy.
Firstly the menu online is incorrect - advertises the lunch menu and doesn’t mention that it is not available on a Sunday. Ordered from the main menu and the food was actually really nice except for the chicken skewers which I am not entirely sure...were cooked properly so we left them. When the bill came they were still on there. I questioned the waitress and said how disappointed (after she had specifically asked me how the food was and I had told her why the plate was practically untouched) I was that the dish hadn’t been taken off the bill. She said she didn’t have the authority to do that. I asked about the manager who she advised was Bridget but they were away this weekend and there was no one she could contact. I then asked her what she would do if I wasn’t a nice person and literally said I wasn’t paying the bill or if there was any trouble .. she said she didn’t know. So the manager of this restaurant has left a young waitress to manage it herself with no authority to do anything. I did intend to come back but I don’t think I will bother now and maybe a call to the food standards agency!More
Georgie has worked for us for 18 months now and is one of our more experienced members of staff and very capable. She does have the authority to make decisions when she is acting as manager and has done before. Unfortunately that day she felt...More
Really friendly staff, very relaxed atmosphere and good food too! Really reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of the food. Will be back.
