We arrived around 1.45 and sat outside the main restaurant which had been very busy earlier. We ordered a beer which came quite quickly followed by a sandwich from the menu It took a bit longer. Meanwhile some friends joined us, and sat at the next table, they ordered beer which came quickly and the menus, and then tried for... More

Located on a popular street, Cafe Modela provided a good meal and a chance to watch local residents go about their daily routines.

If you don't like crowds this cafeteria and its location are not for you. The people of La Línea do not save their money, they spend it on having a good time, and nowhere is it more evident than in the main drag, the Calle Real, where Cafe Modelo has 2 cafeterias and a cake shop. You can buy the... More

Firstly let me get something straight out there... the hot chocolate is an absolute must! Thick, creamy almost melted chocolate consistency! Totally to die for on its own. However add great service, the most amazing decor inside and you're truly in heaven. Well worth a visit.

We found this bar on our first night in La Linea and visited every day. The staff are very welcoming and the bat is an excellent place to sit and people watch whilst relaxing with a drink. It was very busy with locals due to being out of season and we felt it offered good value for money. A must... More

It has a beautifully decorated large bar area with a mezzanine balcony and outside tables with gas heaters. It was packed and atmosphere was great. Shame there were insufficient numbers of staff.

On the last night of our weeks holiday we found this place my wife and I had excellent meals but the chips were thin and overcooked and not that hot - but was really enjoyable. Slow service. The decor is very good with an upstairs dining area up a very ornate round staircase. We sat inside as it was raining... More
