We dropped in for lunch on a winter Sunday, with no reservation. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Food was simple but tasty and very good value. An excellent find.

Last night we were at the Queen Victoria in Shalford and I cannot say enough fabulous things about it! The atmosphere is so lovely and friendly, the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious, amazing selection of ales and Pete, the landlord, simply could not have been nicer! It is so nice to walk into a Surrey... More

First time here, for the latest meeting of our "gentlemens" book club. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Good selection of ales and ciders. Decent food, especially the Pieminster pies (supplied from the West Country)....the special one was venison - excellent, served with mash, veg and a lovely, unctuous gravy. One small gripe: we had a table in the window, near... More

Despite my sister living 1.5 miles up the road it fell to me to road test this pub. Great choice of real ales, good lively pub, a bit too 'family friendly' for my liking, but I am a grumpy b**tard anyway. Didn't eat but it all looked good, will be back.

I have been eating in this pub in our village for many years with friends & family. Our recent visit will be our last. There was always, until this year, a variety of dishes which would be gluten free and a willingness to accommodate the problem. A choice of two only this time and I do not like to eat... More

This is a super village pub with good ale, great wine, and a real pub menu with restaurant quality food. All the staff are very welcoming, the landlord is a publican and the locals are friendly. Well worth a visit, will go again, Regards Gerry

Non pretentious food at a very reasonable price. Staff friendly and welcoming. Perfect for supper after our game of tennis.

First visit by Shalford Womens Institute for lunch, all the ladies loved it. Very straightforward with ordering and paying, we all have separate bills. Charlie and Emma were so organised and efficient. All meals piping hot. Thank you to you all from Shalford W.I.

Came here for a lunch time meal and had one of the best burgers I have had in years. Locally produced food, great beer selection and a roaring log fire. I have already booked my works Xmas dinner here. Strongly recommend a visit.

Everyone's favourite local! As a pub that does food, rather than a restaurant that does drinks, The Queen Victoria is a family run, traditional pub with a lovely beer garden. We welcome cyclists, walkers, dogs (well behaved, on leads) and families. We offer a good range of real ales, lagers and ciders on tap, as well as some lovely wines and the normal selection of non-alcoholic options. The feedback on our good, honest and reasonably priced pub food and service is positive and you can see our menus on our website. Whether you want a pint on your own, with friends or to sample the pub fayre, you won't be disappointed. Pete, Sally and the team look forward to meeting you soon!
