The Menu del Dia at 9.50e was the best deal I noticed in the town. Location was fine and somewhat away from the resort hustle and bustle. I had a generous helping of chorizo and pasta for starters followed by Chicken Provencal and Creme Caramel. The food was of top quality and I would have thought the restaurant should be... More

We were on a budget and thought the set menu looked fab value, we had soup and the stewed chucked, both were wonderful!! Just nice honest food, good flavours and we found the couple who ran it both welcoming and very friendly, we ate on a quiet night and chatted to them for ages after our meal. We loved it... More

On our first visit we had a lovely meal , a three course meal for less than ten euros pp. Had a good selection of wines. All three courses were excellent I had to have the cheese board has it was recommend from another customer. The quality of the cheese was excellent. This is the reason for a second visit... More

We go to Lanzarote every year, and ever since we discovered this wonderful little restaurant we have always taken a meal there - and never been disappointed. The food is French/Spanish and invariably delightful, the hosts always make time to talk to customers as friends.

We stumbled across this place looking for somewhere else and decided to give it a try. We all had the menu du jour the tuna stuffed eggs and spanish meat platter were both very nice and good sized portions. This was followed by sardines and canarian potatoes for some and chicken fricasee for others then a caramel pudding. The food... More

Only discovered El Marinero at the end of our stay. We will go back to try more of the menu if when we return to this beautiful island. The four course special to share is worth a try if you like fish, @ €15 p.p. with a drink of choice also. Nice quiet location. The French staff are quiet but... More

Owners/staff are so rude and unfriendly, they don't bother even raising a smile unless you are French. The food was a insult to French cooking, tasteless, bland, tiny portions. Don't waste your money...there are plenty of good restaurants in the area.

We had the worst restaurant experience here. The food was terrible, soup that was watered down and no flavour, chicken main dish that also had poor flavour, stale greasy vegetable stew and a tiny amount of chicken. What was awful about this is we have been faithful regulars to this restaurant every time we visit lanzarote, once we went three... More

Was here on a Sunday evening while in Puerto Del Carmen, staff were welcoming however the service was not great with huge gaps between courses. The food was average - not sure if I would go back.

This place should be called Fawlty Towers. Owner is not very welcoming and only smiled when I asked for the bill in French and the young Spanish waiter hadn't a clue what was on the menu. Coq au vin was acceptable but the hake was over cooked. House wine was very cheap and quiet good value. Couldn't recommend this restaurant... More
