Happened to be there with full moon...The whole place makes you feel like you are on a theater stage or something.I would propose alkyoni even for a glass of wine(however, avoid weekends as it gets really crowded,).The appetizers were simple greek. We only had grilled fish for a main(grouper fillet),and it was divine. We didn't stay in their rooms,so i have no... More

Relaxing 3 night stay in the beautiful Alkyoni, we received a very warm welcome. Everything we wished for, lovely rooms, with beautiful sea view. The hotel is the next to the pine forest and to Chalikiada beach! The restaurant was also good, the food was fresh and once again the view astonishing!

This place is one of the best of the island. It has a dramatic view not to miss. It is always busy. The food is fresh and excellent. The sardines, the grill fishes, and other local products are simple and tasty. I would recommend to avoid the house white wine... It is pretty bad

Shame on you, Tripadvisor, and your five-stars limit! If there was a "one-time-only" opportunity to rate a place six stars, I wouldn't hesitate to give it to Alkyoni. The food is better than excellent, prepared not only with freshest local ingrediences but also with a great love for detail as well as years of experience. When Takis tells you "It... More

This meal was great and made better by the buzzy atmosphere and fun staff. A strong menu of Greek classic. We were taken into the kitchen to choose our fish and it was well worth the visit. Cheap delicious wine. Great Atmosphere. Amazing view.

It can be crowded with backpackers in July and August. In the other months it's the place to eat freah fish and local dishes.

We were 2 times in this restaurant. located above the sea, the view is amazing. the restaurant is very simple and the ambiance cool. There is no try to be something else or a fancy restaurant. The salads are very very tasty and based on the classic greek food they have tried to bring a touch of originality. The service... More

Alkioni is the best place to eat, drink and sleep. It is not only a family restaurant, it also is a great hotel. Prices are very good, location is magical and the atmosphere is from another hippie, relaxing, loving era.. Had a great timeon my vacations there -8 days .

The location of the Alkyoni is superb, it sits on top of a cliff overlooking the sea giving fantastic views of the ocean and the twinkling lights of the Island of Aegina a few miles away. The decor is very simple with a large cushioned area to relax and chat with a drink or three. The table bases are made... More
