We wanted to eat some fresh fish, and we really enjoyed all the dishes in La Catifa. Simple good food, cooked as plain as it could be, and everything was just delicious. Just perfect.

On a January day, most Palamos restaurants were empty by La Catifa was buzzing with life. This was the best meal we had all vacation. Incredibly fresh seafood, located right next to the port, literally. The razor clams were delicious. This was the best paella we've ever had and this last trip we tried a different one each day for... More

A lovely restaurant with superb food. Such a wide range of choice with some brilliant varieties of fish and sea food. Good value and the waiter Ismail is wanting to help and is so enthusiastic. The place is also very popular with local people. You may need to check availability and make a booking.

We were in Palamos for one day having arrived on the Thomson Dream cruise ship. Rather than return to the ship for lunch as so many do we like to eat ashore and really get a feel for the places that we are visiting. The problem with Palamos was that when 12.30 came, which is when we decided to have... More

Recommended by one of the locals, so decided to go a little early since no reservation and did get a table. Service was prompt but got the feeling like we were a bother and most attention was given to locals. Had their fish platter and the Mrs had Cod. Food was good but nothing that really rattled our chain. Personally... More

I didn't want to write down this review but I think a management of the restaurant should do something with unpleasant service. Next day when We entered the restaurant during opening hours very angry old... More

Visited this lovely restaurant on a quiet Monday lunchtime. Enjoyed delicious Palamos prawns, hake in salsa verde, razor clams and assorted grilled fish followed by delicious cream catalana . Exemplary service. Great value and quality through and through.
