Everything: from the moment you come in till you leave. We dropped in without a reservation and they made a table available (on my birthday). Al fresco salad, fish, nothing too much, all flavors fully balanced. We returned again to have a pizza the next...day after a long day of driving around and again the taste was in balance: crisp, thin and very very fresh and delicious. We were visiting Caldas and we were renting an Air BnB about a block away. This restaurant was recommended to us by the caretaker and so we made a reservation, which was handled very kindly in person. The food was excellent, every course was presented...beautifully and the pacing of service was attentive but non-intrusive. This group works as a marvelous team. The owner runs a professional and masterful establishment. And yet there was no pretension or attempt to make anyone feel intimidated; we felt very welcomed as foreigners. We stumbled across end Sabores and we’re grated with such grace by Norberto and his staff. The food was exquisite and the wine recommendations were fantastic. The homemade pasta and Saltimbocca were both truly wonderful!

We waited for our food for over an hour. The food was mediocre at best. Definitely would not recommend. There are many restaurants around it, try some thing else.

There were six of us for dinner. The owner is a gentleman who is justifiably proud of his restaurant. All six of really enjoyed our food immensely. I had a starter portion of Grandmas ravioli which is not on the menu but no problem. Beautiful...pasta and then a pizza which was perfect followed by tiramisu. Highly recommend.More

If you are looking for Italian food that tastes A+ in an unexpected, sophisticated dining room make a reservation at Sabores D’Italia. My husband and I were staying in Obidos about 30 minutes away from this wonderful haven. When we arrived at the door we...were greeted by name and immediately we felt welcome. The dining staff was very caring and attentive. Though it was not on the menu they prepared some fresh brewed iced tea. All pasta is made by hand. Dessert is amazing. Horrible! The food has no taste at all! The service is a crap! Don't go. The food seems to be frozen, the waiters spend most of their time chating among them.
