Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took the Octopus, recommendation of the day. I was promised potatoes and vegetables as sides. What I received was a mediocre octopus with potato mash, and for what I received the meal was extremely overpriced. I will not come back but hope that the...kitchen just had a bad dayMore

5 waiters just hanging without paying much attention Yoon to their customers. We went here for their happy hour. Asked for the drinks to NOT come with sugar. Of course the drinks comes with sugar. We send them back and they give us new drinks....Second round, we ask to PLEASE Mamés sure no sugar, we get the drinks and of course they come full of sugar once again. We gave up and left! If you are looking for a bar with attentive staff and to get what you ask for, then stay away as this won’t be the place for you!More

I had lunch with friends and had a terrible experience. The food was mediocre and the service terrible. It was 6 of us and it took 3 hours to have lunch. They kept getting the orders wrong, missing items or delivering the wrong stuff. Completely,...disorganised and on top of it all they were unbelievably rood.More

We wanted to escape the heat for a decent lunch before our flight. Quite mixed impressions. Our waiter was excellent and did exceed our impressions. Some of the other waiters passing by preferred to coolly walk around slowly trying to impersonate Brad Pitt or similar....Those guys actually did pick up bottles or hand out a menu occasionally, otherwise they mostly seemed to work to create ambience. Everything on the menu was pricey which is reasonable with lots of staff and a good location. Though, being charged for ketchup and mayo when ordering a burger without sauce is not acceptable. Or being charged almost 5 € for a gluten free bread that we had to cut ourselves, claiming that cutting and placing a bread on a plate in a better kitchen (separate knife and cutting board??). No probs serving fries or the burger itself though, someone needs to rethink kitchen cleanliness for food intolerances.More

As we spent an early afternoon wandering around Ibiza Town we wanted do have a couple of cocktails prior to our dinner reservation and being in the central square we thought it was a perfect location to sit and watch the world go by! Service...was good and timely, although to be fair it was perhaps a little quieter than later into the evening, but we were also able to take advantage of the happy hour offer (I think 5-8pm) so had one free drink with our initial cocktail order. We enjoyed our visit and would certainly come back again on our next visitMore

Mum & daughter dined here afternoon 19.6.23 specifically wanted tapas at this main square location accepted fact we’d pay higher charge than other options due to location Staff keen to entice us to take table & order jug sangria €34 which was exquisite - food...was average the Schwarma de pollo smothered in mayonnaise meat was poor quality and gristly saturated in mayo nobody enquired no comment was passed by server when collecting daughters untouched meal - it was 36deg staff handed out hand held fans to some tables, didn’t offer to us - there was group of loud women seated chanting nursery rhymes generally disruptive and loud, didn’t want to tackle and have confrontation but felt staff should of requested their conduct was more restrained - to compound our frustration when the table mentioned requested their bill they were each given complimentary drinks - meanwhile we were just given our €100 bill - we didn’t leave a tip!! Our recommendation would be to find an authentic tapas bar in side street however if you eat at La Cava talk loudly, irritate fellow diners and get rewarded with a complimentary drink by the staff - Disappointing experience wouldn’t recommend this restaurantMore

This was my favourite place to eat on my holiday. The tapas is amazing. It is a little more expensive but you get a good quality and quantity for that money. Location is great and central too

We agree with the review below. Do not waste your time. The staff are more concerned with getting customers in rather than look after their customers. We waited over an hour for a children’s pasta and then didn’t receive all our food. The cheek was...that they tried to charge us for tapas that we didn’t get, so many other places to eat, avoid here.More
