Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a fabulous relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service equally fantastic. All the waiters were full of character and eager to help us with choices and made the experience even more enjoyable. One of our party asked for a Malibu and...Coke and the owner went to source some for her as they didn’t have any. Excellent customer service, great fun night!More

If there's one place that truly captures the soulful essence of authentic Spanish tapas, it's La Bodega. From the moment you walk in, you're transported to a quaint and charming corner of Spain, right here in the heart of the city. The rustic decor, the...ambient lighting, and the soft hum of contented diners set the scene for a culinary journey. Every dish at La Bodega sings with authenticity and flavor. Whether it's a classic pimentos or a contemporary twist on patatas bravas, you're guaranteed a symphony of taste with every bite. The quality and freshness of the ingredients shine through, testament to the chef's dedication to true Spanish cuisine. But it's not just about the food. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely heartfelt. It's clear that the staff shares a deep passion for the traditions and flavors they're serving up. To dine at La Bodega is to experience not just tapas, but a slice of Spanish culture and hospitality. If you havenMore

We were on holiday staying in a town a few miles from Ibiza Town, but figured it would be silly not to go into town at least once. So we had a wander about, did a bit of shopping, then looked for somewhere to eat....Which brought us to La Bodega; the chap outside beckoned us in and found a table for three. The place was buzzing. Not in the sense of staff going about their work briskly but calmly, but in the sense of a million excited bees dashing about more quickly that you can possibly keep track of. Service was super-quick. We had drinks and menus in no time, and before long we'd also ordered our food. Tapas is the theme, so we went for a fairly predictable variety - patatas bravas, croquettes, meatballs, Spanish omelette and barrata. As with most tapas places dishes came as they were cooked, which was absolutely fine. We washed down dinner with some nice beer and white wine. Eating here doesn't take long. Everything moves at breathtaking speed, and the staff do an amazing job to keep up with the frenetic pace. They have a lot of character too - none of this "would sir like more wine?", but more along the lines of the waiter sitting down with us and joking about whilst taking the order and then having a shot with us all at the end of the meal (which did happen - though he was sensible enough to go for a half-measure as I suspect he was doing it with everyone and risking being on the floor by closing time). It's not the place to go if you're hard of hearing and have trouble with background noise, because with the background music, the staff calling to each other and the general hubbub of conversation you'd be a bit doomed, But otherwise, give it a go. It was a blast, we had an excellent meal, and it's going to stick in our memories for all the right reasons.More

This is a nice restaurant, located near the old city wall. The tapas tasted good and the staff is friendly but the price of the food is a bit overrated and prices are excluding service fee.

Best food to date. We stumbled across la bodega and luckily they had a table. Great food and fabulous staff - they were so busy but still had time for all their customers . Inexpensive as well

Delicious food and wish we could have tried everything but there were only two of us. Staff good fun. Food came out quickly. Only slight issue was the chairs weren’t the most comfy but the great food still means it’s a five from me.

We were recommended this place by the taxi driver. We were greeted and seated quickly, unable to sit outside as it was busy we were seated undercover but with an outside opening. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, drink and food order was taken...quickly and arrived the same despite being busy. We chose the tapas, 5 dishes between two of us and was the perfect amount. The cocktail and wine we had with dinner was also very good. Thank youMore

Disappointing return after 5 years to what was originally a family run restaurant with outstanding food and an interesting menu to match. It now feels like a fast food joint, Service was very rushed by pushy staff, food appeared within 2 minutes and clearly wasn’t...freshly prepared and was really poor quality. The dining experience lasted 30 minutes and they were pushing for us to leave. And food was very overpriced. Don’t be fooled by the location which is lovely as the food doesn’t cut it. Definitely won’t return and definitely don’t recommend. Shame.More

What can we say. This is without doubt the best Tapas you will ever eat in the world. That is no exaggeration. Such a great location but be careful not to miss it on the approach to the castle. The warm welcome, the great advice...and guidance throughout the menu and then the star of the show….the FOOD! I’ll share the pictures to speak my words. Enjoy and make sure you come here…More

We were "welcomed" by a loud guy, shouting his greetings in an in-your-face attempt at being the jovial host. Not everybody appreciates this approach. We didn't let this put us off, and chose an inside table. We quickly ordered drinks and tapas staples. The place...was quiet, and the service was pretty quick (we found service in Ibiza quicker than it traditionally is across Spain) and the food was excellent. There seemed to be more staff than customers (I suppose it was early season) and I felt they needed to back off and let the customers enjoy their meal in peace! I think this is an excellent restaurant, attractive inside and the food was good... but please let the food do the talking!More

Absolutely delicious tapas. I wanted to try everything on the menu. Beautiful building. Yes small tables close together but it adds to the buzz of the place. I will remember the food as some of the best of my holiday

We used to visit here every Ibiza trip, but hadn’t been for 6 years…..unfortunately it no longer lives up to expectation and the food quality seemed to be compromised on many dishes (felt like the were servings of mass produced items, which it never felt...like this previously). Great location right by the ramp to Dalt Vila.More

Fantastic tapas at an even better price! We ordered 6 tapas dishes, 1 beer, 1 water and 1/2 a litre jug of sangria and it came to 60 euros which is a bargain in Ibiza. Great quality food and good vibes in there too
