Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the third time we have been to LA Tana. Wonderful food and service. Amazing gnocchi and macaroni dish. The service was very efficient and friendly. You have to go to this wonderful restaurant if you are in Ibiza town.

We stumbled across La Tana one evening after spending a few hours on the marina. The setting is very pretty - tucked away on a cobbled side street under colourful lights. We received a very warm welcome - service was quick and attentive, the lady...told us the history of the restaurant and how it still remains in the family. We ordered the linguine and Osso buco macaroni. My girlfriend really enjoyed hers however we felt quite let down and confused by my linguine. From the pictures we’d seen online the linguine seemed to be brimming with seafood but on the menu there was only mention of sea urchin and caviar. When it arrived the pasta was perfectly cooked but there was no caviar and just a very strong, fishy sauce. Quite unsure about this one if we’re being honest. The menu was also very small, we couldn’t see half the dishes we’d seen online on the menu. Feel like perhaps they’ve scaled back due to covid and operating a reduced menu? Overall an enjoyable meal in a very authentic setting but seems very inconsistent from what we’ve seen online and definitely felt short changed with the linguine we received.More

We were in search for the best trattoria in the town of ibiza, some friends and hotel staff reccomended to us La tana as it is almost 40 years in operation in the old town. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the real italian cuisine. I...expected some more choices in terms of wine, but the friendly and welcoming staff gave us several choices to have an excellent dinner with friends and family. Definetely we will visit on our next trip to Ibiza.More

Really nice restaurant in Ibiza situated in the old town in a small street. Nice ambiance. People were nice. A little bit expensive but with a really good quality of food. I am a French girl so you can trust me about this. I recommend.

It took more than 1.30 hours to get served. Dishes were nice, but definitely overpriced and together with the delayed service not to be recommended .... and if you are hungry do not go there, you will be hungry when you leave because the portion.../ size are tiny! Sorry guys- make an effort to do a better job!More

La tana is one of my favourite Italian restaurant on the island. Every time I go to ibiza for me it’s a must go place! The atmosphere, the food, the workers/owners just everything! It’s like going back to one of this little town in Sicily,...the sitting is beautiful. Amazing food, innovative...kinda of a fusion cuisine.More

After cancelling another reservation to spend the evening in Ibiza town we needed to find somewhere to eat. Checking out trip advisor we came across La Tana, so thought we’d give it a try based on some of the great reviews. Set is a really...tranquil side street in the heart of the old town, this unassuming restaurant certainly delivers on many levels. AlI can say is we are glad we found it. The food was simple, yet incredible and super delicious! Lamb Ragu was creamy and not overpowering. Iberian pork neck was just gorgeous and the sea food pasta dreamy. One huge recommendation is the Strawberry cheesecake (if it’s on the menu) it is simply divine!!! We would all recommend La Tana and will definitely go back.More

Used to have great pizza and now turned into a restaurant but really disappointing. Had a joke Of a salad (octopus something) that was the size of a pea for 20€- then the gnocchi were swimming in sauce. Tuna sear wasn’t bad but honestly won’t...go back.More

If you are looking for amazing food, great atmosphere, cool crowd, and local but chic authentic ibiza charms, then La Tana is your best choice. I have been going there for many years, for early dinner, late dinner, dinner and pre party...have never been disappointed....The owner, Leo, and his family (the crew), have the best hospitality, they always make you feel at home. All in all, for me is hands down best restaurant in Ibiza.More
