A wonderful place with a beautiful interior, very friendly service, a diversified menu and great food! We especially liked the catch-of-the-day, in my case a great portion of white fish for a very reasonnable price. Try also the local beer!

We are vegetarian and decided to stop at this lovely moat front restaurant, right next to the castle with a great view. They had several vegetarian options for us and were willing to make substitutions. Our waiter was so nice to ask the chef about what he could do to add and subtract ingredients. We had the beet soup and... More

We visited this restaurant as we were given a welcome drink voucher at the hotel we were staying. We were not disappointed as the ambiance was excellent. The restaurant is located next to the castle's moat and has a beautiful view. The service is excellent. I had a pasta dish and my companion had fresh fish. Both dishes were very... More

We visited for the dinner, to have fish of the day dish - as we red lots of positive reviews. When we were seated and got the menu , the waitress didnt mention that it was finished. So, when we were ready to order - she said that there no more fish over. We had to order something else -... More

On the outside this restaurant is quite humble, but inside the old wooden house was beautiful and cosy. Stuff was really friendly and professional. Fast service. Food was delicious. They use local products and there's also something for vegans.

This Kuursaal brings you back to the first decades of the 20th century. You will not be disappointed when visiting for an early morning coffee with cake. For dinner we trusted the Bouillabaise a la Saaremaa and the catch of the day. Both were very good.

Visited many times, but this year I was truly dissapointed - went with my parents, the waitress did not know the availability for half of the menu, nor could explain the menu (in Estonian). We had to wait over ten minutes to get the bill as staff was just chatting around. Second time we went with friends - we weee... More

The service is based on your activity as a client. Young waiters have not trained too much for the client service. The food is better than some other places in Saaremaa, but not an experience. If you like vinegar the baltic herring might be something to start with. It is quite good. The daily fish is served as a whole... More

We were staying 1-2min walk away in (absolutely great) Hotel Ekesparre and they gave us welcoming drink coupons here, so we decided to have a dinner there. Views to the Fortress from their terrace are stunning, that alone is worth of visit. Restaurant itself is large wooden building, almost like a manor. In menu they have lots of local veggies,... Good food made favouring local incredients. Cross between traditional Estonian food and modern style. Portions contain plenty of vegetables and vegetarian options are available. It would bee five points, but service wasn't worth the highest mark. When entering the restaurant, we were totally ignored by the serving staff. Apparently they were busy, but how long does it take to inform... More
