The fish was frozen fish, and I paid such a high price for it. As a fish-lover, one of the worst ever tasted. My wife food is too salty. She ate the food only because we had already paid.

O Lopes??? French fries: tasted as if they came from McDonalds Suckling Pig: tough and barely warm Fried rice: found hair in it. The waitress said "oh sorry" and made a motion to scrape it off. When the plate came back it was less rice then before showing us that they did just scrape it off and reheat it. which... More

We went to O Lopes in the afternoon. We tried the desserts. The Sawdust Pudding (popularly known as Serradura) tastes good but Pudim de Ovos (Egg Pudding) lacks sweetness. Each serving is good for one. They don't have service water. You have to buy it. And when you get your bill, there's service charge. Ours reached 8 MOP. The restaurant... More

Sadly our favorite Portuguese restaurant in Macau (al Petisqueira) was close for a staff holiday, so we tried the neighbor restaurant O Lopez , which did not look like much, but the food was amazing. We had the Bream and the Bacalau a braz - both were amazing , we will be back.

Touring the restaurants in Taipa. Came upon the O Lopes. Looks an old Portuguese spot, menu was a bit difficult. Found the grilled sardines which were very good; the wine selection was very good and reasonably priced. Went with the proprietor’s recommendation with success! Will revisit this quiet, clean and reasonably priced Portuguese delight
