Was looking for Portuguese inspired cuisine while on Macau for a day trip. Food was bland (no taste) and expensive for what you got. My partner is vegetarian and when we ordered with the wait staff, we made it clear NO MEAT. The meals came out with meat, and when we made them aware, the staff wanted to argue about... More

Very much family style, good fish and seafood. Try the "navy-style clams" as a main. They're delicious.

It is a typical restaurant for group travelers. Food was not that deilicous at all. Too salty. I cannot feel some authentic taste of Portugal food at all.

Food at Dom Galo is superb and the price is reseanable. Its a good place to meet old and new friends, talk, eat drink and just to chill. Service and its servers are so nice and friendly that you'd want to keep on coming back.

Good, mid-range Portuguese restaurant, good selection of meat and seafood dishes, menu is in English, reasonably priced, decent wine list. Family friendly, good for large groups.

The indoor decor is interesting (stuff toys hanging about from the top) which provides a good photo op. The staff is friendly. We've ordered grilled salmon, fried squid and ribs and some drinks. All food orders taste good. Our total bill is about 800.

We alerted our server that the cod fish was way too salty for an adult, let alone a child. First bite into it left an undesirable mask of a fish that's not fresh. Left me no choice--had to return it.

Walking into Dom Galo after the hustle and bustle of its nearby casino was really and experience in itself. Having walked in late afternoon the store was relatively empty which gave me the perfect opportunity to bask in the uniquely Portuguese (i think) colourful art decor. That i sadly wasnt able to show due to a dead phone battery. Nonetless... More

This is one of our go to lunch spots in Macau. It's great, not too expensive, quick and a bit of a neat experience. Try the piri Piri clams.
