We were visiting Rome from Atlanta with a big family (9). After a couple of days of rushing through all the historic places in the city, we wanted to relax at the beach. Our guide suggested going to Fregene, so we did. We spent the...whole day at the beach, and stayed for dinner (keep in mind that in Italy, many places close the kitchen from 3 to 7). The staff was friendly and willing to work through the language barrier. We had a great time, and the food was delicious. My daughter is allergic to seafood, and they accommodated by preparing her a dish without it. The prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend.More
