We visited in early October and had a really enjoyable meal with beautiful views. We love seafood and our all inclusive wasn’t hitting the spot so we ventured out into Kos and my husband found this restaurant. We had scallops and octopus to start and...being greedy we also opted for the grilled calamari main to start too! The Scallops were slightly disappointing as it was two small scallops, but the grilled calamari was very nice. The star was the Octopus. It was incredible! We had seafood saganaki and swordfish for mains and again both were delicious. If we hadn’t seen the pictures on TripAdvisor of the outside area overlooking the sea we probably wouldn’t have gone in as the outside looked a bit like a kebab shop but we are so glad we visited as the food, service and location were fab. Definitely recommend a visit here if you come to Kos and love seafood!More

Gorgeous location, greek decor, just round the corner from Kos town harbour. We had a light lunch (scallops were delicious, seafood spaghetti too) but everything was cooked to perfection. Top tip - ask them to order you a cab if you are leaving straight after...and avoid the horrendous queues at the cab rank.More

My Wife and I had dinner here as walk ins on Sat 30th September 2023. We were placed on a table out towards the back of the restaurant. There is a run of about 5 Fish focussed restaurants in a row just off the Marina...in Kos Town. We had a Tzatziki starter to share which was amazing. Most tangy! I also had a very nice Greek salad. We then had fish mains - I had an excellent seared Tuna and my Wife ate a glazed salmon fillet. We chose a bottle of local white wine and we had water and beers too. Have been to Agkyra many times over the years and each time the food is fantastic. Family run taverna with delicious food. Dined there on our first and last night of the holiday. The tuna fillet and grilled vegetables were cooked to perfection. Thank you...Elion and family. 🧡More

We booked the restaurant for our second night in Kos and were shown to a lovely table at the waters edge. The food was excellent as were the drinks and the service was second to none. The most gorgeous restaurant. It felt very greek and very romantic typical white and blue design. The seating was on the beach so you could hear the waves and had the most beautiful view. There was low lighting on the table and quiet music for...the background. Our food cane quickly and was incredible, we could not fault it. In Greece were used to receiving watermelon as a free dessert however we were given a complimentary cheese cake which was delicious.More

Very busy and a wait for a table despite having a booking. Unfortunately despite the lovely location it seems the service is severely lacking, we waited over 30 minutes before our order was taken, however the food did arrive quickly after that, the same cannot...be said for most of our neighbours who were all in various stages of annoyance at the slow service. Food was average, octopus starter overcooked.More

Bad experience! We booked a table the night before as it was the last in Kos. We were poorly greeted by a waitress that placed on a table exactly on the water shore. Unfortunately, a wave got us soaking wet and no waiter would come...and apologiezed for the situation. They did not offered another table or anything. The food may be good, but the service sucked big time!More
