Just love it, food it fantastic, what you see is what you get if your looking for fine dining it's not your place. If your looking for great meat and sea food dishes at fair price it's fantastic

Never go here. Ever. Situated in a car park was bad enough but the 'staff' were awful: surly, miserable, couldn't be bothered. Food was not even average and when served coffee in a cracked cup we complained. Their response was to pour the coffee into a new cup. We refused that, paid and left. Worst place we've been to in... If paella is your ideal Sunday lunch, with hundreds of noisy Spanish families, sitting on plastic chairs on gravel.......then this is the place. Paella for 4 was more than enough for 5 ! Takeaway containers supplied....fresh salad, lovely toasted bread, frito misto, sardinas, to start, with jugs of sangria......two hour leisurly lunch......perfect and gentle stroll along the promenade for coffee... Food is not bad, but service is not good. Too slow and anything that's not tapas or fast food is a little expensive for what the place is: a garden chair restaurant. Wait times too long. Waitress even forgot my dessert.

Open from July to September, this bar is n a beautiful setting. It is convenient for us as it is 5 minutes walk from our apartment. During August it is best to book if you want a table as it gets very busy especially at weekends. The staff are efficient, polite and very helpful. Fresh, very typical Spanish food, a... More

Been there a few times since been open and mostly because other friends or family wanted to go there. The place is very relax and as the rwstaurant is call a chiringuito. Menu ok, service alright and food...ok too. They have a soft play there so great for the kids before or after dinner. Not my favorite place.

Visited this restaurant with some friends, have been before but not for a while. We all love the atmosphere here and the food is excellent, so much to choose from, some had steak, some rabbit and some cuttle fish, accompanied by roast vegetables and jacket potatoes, excellent local wine too.Dont be put off by the plastic tables and chairs.

Service was good but the food could have been better. The chicken was very dry and seafood paella was over cooked. Reasonably priced but there are far better places to eat in albir and we won't be returning.

However, it should immediately be said that the restaurant on TripAdvisor, carrying apporoximately the same name as the one visited, is not the same. The place I recommend (probably moved from the former address) is located "toe in the water" a little outside the center of altea, off the 332 going east. The new address is: Playa de la Olla,... A group of 12 visited this restaurant last night. With all the children's attractions in site we presumed they would have an appropriate children's menu so we disappointed to find only burgers & hot dogs available. The kids ate them but if hoped for a bit more variety. The paella was okay.... Lots of seafood and meat but felt the... More
