Thanks for the great review. We have looked at a play area but as our insurance would want the area covered in safety matting and the only place to put it would be close to our neighbour’s lounge window and not in full view from...More

We had a great lunch today at the Muddled Man. The food was lovely and fresh. I had cheese omelette, chips and beans and my wife had cod and chips. Both excellent. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful pub, great food, lovely welcome from landlord and local residents, a sense of humour is needed but makes the visit all the more interesting, thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be returning.

Stopped off here whilst en-route to a weekend of football & ale. The welcoming the 10 of us had was sheer quality. I swear the landlord was praticing his comedy routine pre the Edinburgh festival. His banter was a welcome relief from the grey skies...More

Hi Jock Thanks for your kind words. Yes, your quite right we happen to be one of those last few real traditional pubs where good old-fashioned banter is used and abused by locals and travellers alike. We are a pub for real people without pretentions...More
