Fantastic food! All home made and absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Very high quality
We last visited The Pub and Churchill 8 years ago, it was OK then. We visited this time with two friends of ours. The decor of the Pub is excellent the only slight dissapointment was they didn't have London Pride but they do have an...wide range of Beers so it was no big deal. We sat down to order our food and was given the run down on how to order using a tablet. I wasn't actually a fan of ordering by tablet before this but the experience here has changed my mind. We ordered our drinks by tablet and immediately we were served them. We then ordered the food and I no time at all the first course arrived, battered mushrooms, lol we all ordered the same and we were glad we did because they were delicious, really crispy batter and tasty mushrooms inside, with garlic and cheese, I think. As we was there especially for The Sunday Roast we again all ordered the same, Roast Beef Dinner... Again excellent and except for one of us we had sticky toffee pudding the other rebel had Eton mess for dessert.... Again was delicious... So in summary well worth the visit and we've already talking about returning on a Friday night for Fish and Chips and more Beer. It's just a pity it's in a small village, because it's a large pub and while we was there it was sparsely populated, but it was getting busier by the time we was leaving. But I feel if it was located in near by Breda it would do a lot more business.More
The pub and Churchill is a great pub/restaurant. The menu features Dutch and British specialities. I enjoyed a fish pot and the various types of English beer. This is a pub to make a diversion for.
The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get really tasty food for a great price. It is super delicious. The owners are so friendly with the guests and always take care to offer the best quality! I highly...recommend this place. This is my absolute favorite restaurant. no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal!More
We never go twice to the same restaurant, but here we did. How awesome it was! Great British food and good ambiance and servants. They have currys, pints of beer, stews and go on and on and on. The place is a gem. Portions are...more than average and you don’t really need a dessert, only if you have the space left! We enjoyed both evenings very much and like the quality of the food. Really good, nice and so on. I can’t stop giving compliments. You order from a tablet and they serve the food on the table. COVID-19 friendly.More
We usually come for a taste of Britain with our children. They offer a diverse selection of beers. The hamburgers are huge and delicious.
We visited with 5 adults and 3 children and it was a very nice experience with friendly staff and a good range of moderately priced 'pub' food. It was a Sunday evening but the pub was pretty busy - mainly (apparently) with locals eating out....Staff were really helpful and chatty but not over the top.More
Great beer selection. Tasty food. Proper attention to our allergy request. Would like some more vegetables with the dishes. Would go back.
We ordered a take-out menu this time. More than enough to eat. We had a naked burger and a schnitzel. Nice meal for a nice price.
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. I would go back again and would defiantly tell my friends to try it.
Spending the weekend over in Made for a wedding party resulted in having dinner, not at the Korenbeurs hotel, but at the Churchill. We had visited them before half a year ago and forgot it was in Made as we don’t live nearby. Yeaaaaah. Planned...of kicking back for a bit, had to wait for about 7 hours before the party started. We played pool (5 racks as it was realllly quiet in the pub). Had a couple of brief chats with the bartenders and a couple of great IPA’s (starting in the beergarten (try the bitterballen with a beer name they’rrrrrrrrrrrr great) and ending up in the pool room). Had dinner in the all you can eat at the back. We were so early we had the restaurant to ourselves untill people started to walk in and we had finished dinner. Great staff, great (pub and restaurant) food, great bears and cyders and screens showing boxing matches, soccer, etc. Like a great British Pub should be ........ worth coming back to.More
Service was perfect en friendly! We had a la carte!! But they also have a eat all you can concept. Went back for a second time while we stayed in a hotel in Made.
Great selection of beers. One waiter is a real connaisseur😀great food all for reasonable affordable prices. Try the spareribs!!!
It's large but with a nice atmosphere. Staff varies in friendliness and service. We had a la carte: burger and a 'varkenshaas saté' which were both very nice and not expensive. Would recommend!
