We just went into this pub for lunch after reading good reviews - after being ignored at the bar by the same member of staff 3 times we left. The place looked almost empty so not as if they were busy

Really enjoyed the food here. Have been here few times for a work doo or dinner with friends and even when there was 30 of us all food came perfectly cooked and at the same time. Staff was always helpfull and friendly.

It was alway's called The Burgess Hill Tavern and the building next to it was known as the Top House,then they amalgamated and kept both names
