Lovely meal served by the loveliest man. The host spoke brilliant English to our broken French and couldn't do enough for us. Very much enjoyed the night... the prawn starter will ensure a return visit.

We visited this in 2014, when we ate outside and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.. the food and service were excellent. We have returned a few times last year and this year, and still find the same cheerful owner service and excellent value. This restaurant pretends...More
We were taken here by french friends on the basis that it was a great place to eat. The initial impression was not overwhelming. It look like the basic french café, Formica tables and a big wooden bar. However from the moment we were greeted...More
A busy restaurant serving excellent food. Service was first class. The exterior doe not reveal the hidden gem inside. You probably have to book. Little else to add except - try it.

Absolutely brilliant....Frederic (front of house) and his partner (chef de cuisine) are in their element doing what all restaurants should be copying. No menu to browse....Frederic reads the menu from a bit of cardboard written in pencil and makes a show of his mastery in...More
. . . . . because you will see it is full. You will have reserved (essential) and be shown to your table. Everyone knows that when you see a restaurant that is busy it will be good, this is certainly true here. An excellent...More
This restaurant offers a remarkably good value lunch and not surprisingly, it is always necessary to book in advance. There is a choice of four or five dishes on each of the three courses but all are tasty and freshly prepared. The price is a...More
