Very nice outside restaurant situated on top of a hill between the vinyards. Authentic fresh tuscan food served on a terrace with an excellent view. Good price value.

This is a short stroll of car hop from the agriturismo. Chef Merko is a master in the cucina. We took his cooking class earlier in the day and had chicken cacciatore fit for a king and queen. So. The wine list is excellent. Do try the house made wines such as the Cedro reserves and have the vin santo... More

This restaurant is out of the way unless you are staying at Agriturismo Fattoria Lavacchio or somewhere nearby but well worth seeking it out. The menu is extensive and uses local produce. The staff are friendly and efficient and happy to recommend wines or desserts. The tagliatelle with rabbit ragout was delicious as was the steak with truffles and the... More

Sergio prepared the most memorable diners we experienced anywhere in Italy. If you are lucky enough to be staying at Agriturismo Fattoria Lavacchio it's a short walk from the compound to this incredible restaurant. Whether you are craving grilled meats, seafood, homemade pasta or pizza Trattoria Mullino A Vento will not disappoint. That's also true for the wines and setting.... More

We stayed for 10 days in a villa just outside a tiny village called Doccia in the Pontassieve region. We found the area amazingly beautiful and the Mulino is definitely the most beautiful restaurant in the area. It makes perfect use of the magnificent surroundings and the view from the terrace is so stunning you can spend hours just staring.... More

We've stayed in Pontassieve for a week, and wanted to try restaurants nearby. On our first night we passed through this restaurant and gave it a try. The views from the terrace are spectacular. On our first time we took foccaccia with ricotta and parma ham, which was divine!! Our main courses consisted of baby chicken (for 10 euro only)... More

The Windmill Restaurant, a place known and appreciated since the forties for its cuisine inspired by the most authentic Tuscan tradition, takes its name from the Windmill of the village, recently restored, where even today, the farm grinds organic grain to get the flour used in the production of pasta, cakes and sweets.

In the countryside, in perfect harmony with the environment, the restaurant offers a wide and shaded terrace overlooking a landscape full of charm; one of the hills surrounding Florence. The choice of a soft traditional furnishings, blended with the decorations contrasting the ceilings and the pavement made from disused barrels now centenarian, reflect the sensitivity to the most authentic tradition.

In the kitchen they are used raw materials, always fresh and genuine, closely linked to the territory and the change of the seasons; the strict interpretation of Tuscan cuisine are combined with some "pearls" of traditional Italian cuisine. The warm and relaxing atmosphere combined with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff will accompany you to your table, making it really special.

Banquets and Conferences

The location of the farm, secluded and peaceful, allows it use by alternating between cheerful ceremonies to scholarly congresses.

If you think of a very special ceremony that will remain forever in my mind and heart, in the melting atmosphere of the rolling hills of Chianti, we will be happy to arrange an unforgettable event. We will organize everything so that you can relax and fully enjoy your holiday.

With your suggestions, we will prepare buffets and banquets for any occasion and requirements (typically Tuscany, game, international, Liguria, and around) and, if you wish, we will be prepared for everything. Try to imagine a carriage eighteenth century along an avenue of cypresses that leads to the church where he will pronounce the fateful yes.
