Real tunisinian cous cous: Vegetarian, meat or fish and seafood. Very simple and small but food is very good. Spicy appetitizers, dehors tables, nice location in a small place inside the Mazara 's kasbah. Affordable price.

We went to this restaurant, recommended by lonely planet, to eat something different then italian food. When we came, we got the last table outside on the terras. There were a lot of guests but only one servent. So most people had to wait more the 1 and a half hour for the food. Even taking up the order took... More

This restaurant is located in the old las kasbah section of the city. The main course consisted veggy and fish couscous. I didn't care for either but then again I'm not a couscous fan. However, the antipasta serving with eggplant, peppers, squash and chili dip was excellent.

We took a tour of the Kasbah and then ate lunch here. Tables were outside under a tent. The food was a North African cuisine. The meal began with an egg roll, bread with dips and antipasto plate. We had eggplant, peppers, squash, beans and a great hot sauce. Then came the couscous and grilled vegetables. It was rather plain... More

I had a very good meal here after visiting the kasbah in Mazara del Vallo - bread with very tasty vegetable dips, two kinds of couscous (vegetable and sea bass), beer, and halwa-sesame pastries for dessert. The service was good and the chef was kind enough to bring her couscous steamer out from the kitchen so she could answer our... More

Tucked into the winding streets of the Maraza's kasbah, Eyem Zemen offers tasty couscous and grilled vegetable dishes. Outdoor seating as well as a spacious dining room.

Davvero stancante attendere per mangiare. Suggerisco se non avete pazienza di non andare in questo posto. Un sabato abbiamo ayltteso quasi due ore per mangiare un... More

Most delicious fish dishes I've tasted so far, too good for their worth! The location is attractive, however they need to up their service. The wait is never ending! I strongly suggest it if you're patient enough.

Came upon this place on a hot summer afternoon when most of Mazara del Vallo was closed. When we arrived no other guests were in the restaurant and we were served by the elderly owner. Service was a bit slow, but worth the wait. We wanted a snack and ended up having a full meal because everything was so good.... More

Had a good dinner here, it was nice to eat something different from the typical italian food during my holiday, after a recommendation I went here and was not disappointed! the couscous was really great (i've had good ones before, having traveled in north africa), the starters really tasty and it was definitely a good price/value dinner! I recommend not... More
