Sunday lunch at Vangelis. Great staff. Wonderful food. Had lamb kleftico and beef stifado. Melt in your mouth loveliness. Well worth a visit. Very reasonably priced as well.

I visited this with Friends and to be honest I was totally surprised by the service and quality of food in heartland of Touristic Protaras. Typically such places simply take your money and the service sucks. Not this place. The service was professional, fast and...More

Nice place, nice atmosphere. You can either sit in the front porch and soak in the night life of Protaras or at the back, much more quiet and laid back environment, overlooking the hotel pool and the seafront. Food is really nice and portions are...More

Description
With a family history since end of 19th century, Vangelis Tavern was a landmark for Paralimni and greater Famagusta area for many years. Now the 5th generation of restaurateurs is running the business in a place established in 1948. During summer our tavern is moving to Protaras in the hotels Avenue.
