#We would like to inform you that our restaurant will be open 30th of March 2019# Andama Tavern is a fine example of the famous Cypriot hospitality in the centre of Protaras. The menu created on original family recipes. Prawn sayanaki, kleftiko, mousaka, meat meze and fish platters will find the way to every heart. Flowers, herbs and plenty of wooden surfaces create an atmosphere of a home style feast, cozy and incredibly tasty. "Get-together" is the meaning of "Andama". The Tavern opens its doors for lunch and dinner.
Ate here twice last April. Heading back this April and forgot to review. I had pork Afelia which was fantastic. My wife had sea food platter which was just for one person. It is difficult to get a platter for one and it was amazing....More

Welcoming anf friendly staff. Great food - quality and quantity. Particularly liked the 'make up your own meze' part of the menu. Visited twice during our stay so we could sample the dishes we did not have first time. Calamari to die for!
We ate here on our first night we were disappointed with out dishes, it was average at best, although this seemed a busy restaurant throughout our stay. We didn't return though, it was ok but not over generous with the portion sizes
We visited this restaurant this April and we were determined to return again last week. In fact we went twice. Great authentic food..Service great..Well kept building and lovely staff. Short and simple..A place you must experience if you visit Protaras.
Went with family for dinner and service was very good, but I could not say the same about the food.
Food was plain and lacking spices, so it felt pretty plain.
Portion size is big, but that is only plus for this place.
Thank goodness we found this place in Protaras, good restaurants are hard to come by on the main strip but fortunately this is one of them. Book in advance, service is attentive and genuine, food is traditional and delicious, I would highly recommend this place!.

When we were seated I requested to be moved as it was on the upper layer near the front where people were smoking. The waiter kindly moved us to a table with an ashtray on but said nobody would be smoking in this area and he removed the ashtray then when the couple behind us finished their meal in the middle of us eating our meal the man decides to light up the worst smelling cigar ever. So I would say not.
