How is Ta Rolla rated?

We took a recommendation from a shop owner and we’re certainly not disappointed. There was no menu , he just read it out. The food was excellent, fresh cooked local fare, delicious and friendly helpful staff, thank you.

Lovely venue, exquisite cuisine, exceptional service, delightful atmosphere.

An additional commendation for the owner who thoughtfully inquired whether we'd like bread—unlike the customary practice in Greece where it's brought automatically and subsequently charged. Grilled fish

Excellent food recommend for families and couples. Grilled fish was delicious. Kisd aslo enjoy spagetti. Fresh and good.

Best meal of our holiday, great place in historic centre

Best meal of our holiday, the best kokkinisto and during the last 4 weeks many have been tried ! Excellent moussaka and beef noir, great salads, Horta and kolokithakia titanite and excellent service. Reminded me of my mother in laws cooking. Highly recommended and amazing...value for moneyMore

Traditional Greek food and Welcome !!

Recently visited this local restaurant. Were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Beautiful Greek salad plus bread local olives and Tzatziki to start and wonderful Mousaka and Beef cooked in olive Oil and Lemon to follow. Very good value also ....I have no hesitation in recommending this family run restaurant if you are in Kalamata .More

Greek Home Cooking

What a wonderful meal. It is home cooking at its best. We started with zucchini croquettes (amazing) and a Greek salad. The moussaka and the beef cooked the Greek way, were both worth every adjective you can find to describe them. If you only spend...one night in Kalamata, have dinner at Ta RollaMore

The best Moussaka and Pasticcio we have tasted. Great choice of food. You can see the array of food if you like and then order. The value is also amazing. Five adults cost 53 Euros including wine

Vegan

Lovely pasta and pea no spices no heavy seasoning Chips very oily but lovely understand what I wanted friendly and busy takeaways very popular Only thing no Greek music apart from that very friendly where’s vegan ice cream any where?

Value for money home made food.

The best place in Kalamata

The best meal I've ever had in Greece! The Owner is great, the service excellent! The Moussaka is the best and weel known for it ... excellent choice of local wine and the service was simply wonderful....

Very good experience

We went for dinner at the To Rolla restaurant. The food is excellent, the service was very friendly and worm. Silvia, the owner was so nice and served us with worm Greek hospitality. Do not miss this excellent restaurant!!

Delicious food, authentic and friendly

This was one of our best restaurant experiences while in greece. They were about to close the restaurant but decided to serve us anyway, they were very accommodating and friendly. The greek salad was the best we had during our whole trip. The seafood fresh...and delicious. Nóstimo!More

Homemade delicious food and friendly service

They served us even if we arrived late in the evening and made us feel very welcome. The service was super friendly and uncomplicated. We had the feeling we were eating at a greek's friend home. Everything was fresh and delicious. They also have some...specialties we haven't seen in other places. First time we tasted the okra, and it was just SO good there. I can only recommend this restaurant.More

Not to be missed experience in Kalamata

Amazing food, warm and friendly staff, and incredible prices. We had a wonderful leisurely lunch at this family place. Everything we ate was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served with love. Do not miss this spot when in Kalamata!
