What's not to love about this place! We were greeted with a cheerful welcome, great selection of food. Quick service with complimentary nibbles. All served on lovely crockery. Lovely soup and bread and amazing scones. So much more than an average cafe.

We always stop at this great little tea room whenever we visit Buttermere. In summer, sitting outside with a homemade ice cream is a perfect end to a walk round the lake!
