We stopped in for dinner at the last minute and found this to be a winner. We really enjoyed their pasta and their meat dish. They have a decent wine selection as well. Looks like a family restaurant and the quality shows through wit some real Tuscan cuisine.

We are staying nearby, since this is pretty out of the way otherwise, but the food and service were wonderful . The lamb chops were outstanding and both pasta dishes were tasty. The house wine at 7 Euro a liter was good and a bargain. We will return while we are in the area.

We were staying nearby and were attracted by the reviews. We weren't expecting anything fancy - just basic, tasty Tuscan food. The dining room was pleasant but not busy. Sadly, the food was a huge disappointment and far from pleasant. Service was prompt and we ordered one bruschetta and one mixed canapés. The canapés comprised a strange mix of unidentifiable... Been there once, we have ordered veal steak and boar meat and both were perfect. Most of the dishes from the card are local Tuscany cuisine so visiting the place will enhance your Italian experience. They don't serve pizza.

Came in for dinner after a long day on the road. Food wasn't bad and prices are very reasonable. Usual Tuscan fare with cold meat starters, main courses of rabbit and pasta with wild boar (cinghaile). All very good. We skipped dessert as we were very tired. Service on a Tuesday evening was a little slow but forgiveable. Opening hours... More

I believe I've tasted half their menu, and it is without exception good. I have wisited the place twice, with my family. Should I point out the best on their toscan menu, it is their "cinghiale ragu", tasty and just wonderful.

This is a very charming restaurant in Casciano di Murlo (about 20 minutes from Siena). We went there three times because we were staying in a villa ten minutes away, and the food was sooooo good! The pasta, the steak, the brushetta al pomodoro. It was all delicious. The only dish I would not recommend is the Osso bucco. This... More

On our last night in Murlo we decided to try the local restaurant in Casciano, and boy are we happy we did. We actually showed up at 6:30pm not knowing that the restaurant did not open until 7:30pm. We were with my mom, who can only walk very short distances. We saw in the window that staff were in the... More
