We thought we were just getting a curry - not only did we have a bowl of comforting curry sumptuous and unctious with blissful flavour but also home made flat breads, a little jar of home-crafted chutney and a wonderful carrot and cashew salad. Just...More

There has been a menu change here, and if I’m honest I was a little disappointed when I sat down and didn’t see my normal choice. However the food we had was beyond expectations.... it was better than my favourite choices before! Staff are really...More

We enjoy the interesting fruit drinks and healthy food, but the food can sometimes be a little 'too healthy'. My 'filled roll' was filled with rather more grated carrot and undressed lettuce, where I had hoped for a bit more Pextenement Cheddar, instead of the...More

Always a favourite when in town offering a variety of Vegiterian and vegan options. Beautiful views overlooking the canal on a sunny day from the outside veranda. Due to its popularity it can get busy at weekends, but worth a visit.

The menu has some very tempting dishes, a little different to what you get elsewhere. There are several choices from Turkish cuisine as well as some food influenced by other world cuisines together with an excellent choice of tea and coffee. The staff are very...More

We’ve been coming to Kava since it opened and this morning I thought I’d try the poached eggs, big mistake! The spar dough toast came unbuttered and the two boiled eggs were like bullets. Very disappointing.More

Dear David Thank you for your feedback. We were already aware of issues with the consistency of our service in all aspects and we have just today launched both new menus and a reorganisation of Kava. We felt that we needed to make some major...More

Been here 3 tines now and enjoyed excellent coffee and scones. Very nice. There is an eating area outside overlooking the canal with fantastic views.
