Everything about this place is brilliant!! Ate here on numerous occasions and never had a bad meal everything home cooked and large portions at a very good price. Great family run pub with nice friendly staff! Get yourself in here you will definitely be back!!

Called in for Sunday lunch after going to Gordon Riggs garden centre. Warm friendly welcome met us immediately. Well stocked bar but slightly disappointingly only 1 real ale (Black Sheep) which was very good. We ordered Sunday dinner which wasn £6.90 and worth every penny....More

Called here after a short, muddy walk for lunch. I had roast pork and my friend had rag pudding with a super bottle of red wine. Proper home style food, good gravy, nice friendly service. Very enjoyable and relaxing, would recommend.
