I was quite disappointed to put it nicely. £12 for 3 anaemic sausages and a bit of mash. The rarebit was also tiny and around £5 if I remember correctly. Sorry guys but I won't be returning any time soon :-(

Have been to this pub a couple of times now for a few pints and amazing hog roast on their opening event, all cask ales very well looked after. Tonight I opted for something to eat. The homemade pig cheek pasties are very good. However...More

We arrived to an empty pub at around 2.30 on a chilly damp Friday. A lovely place and we received a warm welcome. I can't praise the pies enough - absolutely amazing! Even thought we were so full we couldn't resist the home made puds...More

We had an enjoyable lunch today, delicious well presented food . Good sized portions so no room for pudding - we will return to try these out. Dog friendly too.

New owners, but the standard of food remains excellent. The menu caters for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. The chef was really helpful when I explained I had a dairy intolerance and suggested options which I could eat. We will return.

I hadn't been to this lovely country pub for about 12 years, and so it was refreshing to visit again recently. The owners had changed but the atmosphere is still good, and the pub looked much cleaner over all. The food was great too and...More

Yes they are , there were a couple of dogs around the bar when we visited, kid friendly too and they did not mind the grown ups either , definitely worth a visit.
