We're an independent family run country pub set in the beautiful countryside of Briestfield, yet only a few minutes from Grange Moor, Mirfield, Thornhill and Huddersfield. We offer a great choice of real ales, wines, spirits, hot drinks and soft drinks. Our friendly staff will look after you whether you are popping in for a quick drink or would like to spend a few hours enjoying a full three course meal. We look forward to welcoming you soon. Food served 12:00 to 8:30 Tuesday to Saturday and 12 to 5 Sundays - bookings advisable on weekends. Breakfast served Saturdays only 8:15-11:45am. Closed on Mondays except Bank Holidays. Every Tuesday 8pm Quiz Night. Afternoon Tea, pub classics, Pizzas,

Fantastic place , extremely friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely be back. Ideal for anyone who wants lovely food and a drink . Excellent seating area outside so you can watch the world go by. Great for walkers.

Hello Sarah, thank you for getting in touch, the restaurant will not be open on Boxing Day I'm afraid, however the bar will be open for drinks and snacks.
