About
Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef

We've never had a tasting menu at an India restaurant before, so we were excited about this - and its all vegetarian, vegan if you wanted it to be.. There was so much else on the menu, but we started with poppadums and nan bread...More

We visited this restaurant after a recommendation as we wanted to try Indian vegetarian food, we’re not veggies but are always open to trying new food. The building is an old pub and it’s modern inside , the ground level was nice enough if not...More

What a gem, lovely food, attentative service and great atmosphere. For a large successful restaurant they manage to make it feel quite intimate upstairs. Polite and attentative staff are never far away, food is delicious and we felt reasonably priced.

Visited Prashad for only second time. My colleagues were a little wary of vegetarian and Indian food. Both were first timers. They should not have worried we all had the taster menu. What an absolute delight it was. Everyone full of praise for the food...More

We were greeted immediately & well looked after throughout. We had the early bird set menu which was superb. Good to share a variety of different dishes. All beautifully presented, well cooked & flavourful with the right amount of heat. We'll be back.

We loved the presentation and tastes of this modern Indian tasting menu. The a la carte dishes that went to other tables also looked great. The service was very good. We'll be visiting again.

Ooh! That's a good question. It's in quite an unusual location so may be tricky via public transport.

If you tell them you wouldn't like any dish with peas they would make the thali that way. You can request the kind of dish that you would like to have. They usually keep guests request.
