Order with extra cockles and extra spicy for the best experience. Good flavour, better than most of the Char Kuay Teow you get from KL and other cities. (Not sure about Penang)

One thing about Taiping that other state do not have is the unique taste of the food , especially "Yong Tau Fu", Cendul , Mee Udang and Fried Koay Teow ! Go there and sample it, then you'll know how good it is :-)

You can find these stalls in the Taiping Casual Market. It is by the side of the old bas station or infront of the Taiping Supermarket. It was famous in the 7-80's. I think this is the only koay teow stall where the cook sit on a small stool and fries the koay teow. You cant find it in any... More

Mr. Goh's fried Koay Teow (rice noodle) is located on the second floor food court of the Plaza Perbandaran stall No. 22. This is probably the cleanest, brightest, roomiest and airiest food court in Taiping. My favorite place for tasty and cheap hawkers' foods and drinks.
