We had two lunches and one dinner here and enjoyed it all. The complimentary bruschetta to start the meal is really tasty. Fast service, friendly owner and tasty fresh food - what’s not to like

Good meal I had chicken stifado which was tasty the owner is a character and can do different accents the Taverna is situated in a alleyway off the sea front
We had a pleasant meal, only let down by frozen chips, in this lovely little place. Nestled between streets it’s quirky and with good service too. The real surprise was that for a meal for 2, main course only and a half litre of wine...it was only 23 euros. An absolute bargain.More
Great food, very nice place and wonderful service. We come for lunch and was very very good. Strongly recommended.
Lovely little restaurant down a side street off the main strip. The gentleman that served us was lovely and had a joke with us about our accent and where we were from. The food was delicious. He recommended shrimps with a garlicy sauce. It was...very tasty. Was a little too warm as quite covered space with little breeze. Overall would definitely recommend.More
Warm atmosphere. Welcome by owner, appetizer, watermelon and drinks from the house as in a traditional Greek tavern. The house specialty chicken (sorry forgot the name) was delicious. Other recommended dishes also very tasty. Reasonable prices. Good service. July 5th, 10 pm and we had...a nice quiet table. Definitely a very nice Greek evening to remember.More
The PR department was wonderful and gracious, spoke English and French which was helpful , and offered a night cap on the house which was kind and seems to be the practice when things are less busy. However the Laneway is noisy and on the...main thoroughfare so we often felt a bit swarmed. The wine server served the wine without glasses which to me is a pretty serious oversight. The food was good as one comes to experience in Greece.More
We have been going here for about 5 years. The host is very friendly with a charming manner and a very good sense of humour. We both had colds and wanted something simple. We had Stuffed vine leaves, grilled peppers to start as well as...the delicious complementary bruschetta. Then hubby had pork belly grilled and I had stuffed aubergine. (Mega yummy) With a litre of wine and a bottle of water it all came to €34. Quite exceptional. Definitely worth a visit.More
Excellent food, friendly service. Great value for money. The owner also understands about gluten free and knows which dishes are safe... .The beef Stifado was absolutely delicious. Oh and the seats are much more comfortable than the regular wicker type ones in most of the...other taverners.More
Another lovely meal. I can’t believe that nobody has left a review since the last time we were there. Restaurant was busy but not full, like so many places this year. This restaurant is a favourite - we do live the liver! And lots of...other things as well. The restaurant is very reasonable and everything comes freshly cooked. The host is very charming. Well worth a visit.More
Yummy Liver. We were in Preveza for 5 nights on our boat. We are here twice. Really delicious meals. If you like liver they do a really delicious version with either onions or bacon and onion. They also have us some complementary garlic bread and...some apple with cinnamon and honey and a house liqueur. Do try the house red wine - great. Very friendly host. Thank you for 2 lovely meals. Hopefully we will be back next year.More
We were recommended this restaurant by sailing holidays staff, what a great recommendation, the food was superb especially the beef stafado!!! The staff were great and the owner was brilliant and personally went round every customer ensuring that we all had the perfect evening !
Without looking at TripAdvisor we chose this restaurant as it was “off the beaten track” and a lot quieter. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious! Every single dish we got (a table of 5) was super tasty! Highly...recommend!More
During a 10 night stay in preveza with all its amazing choices for food, we only went back to 2 restaurants because they were so good. This was one of them. Thassos is a great host and the food outstanding.in addition you receive free bruschetta...starters a complimentary dessert and drink.the house red is very good. The lamb chops moussaka bream and beef were amazing. Over 2 nights the bill was less than 30 euros each time Inc a litre of wine.More
This restaurant makes the best authentic Greek fresh seafood. So good and the atmosphere is so great! The owner Tasos is a really nice host. The choice of wines is a bit limited maybe because the Greeks don't drink wines with their meals? Anyway, we...enjoyed our lunch that much that we decided to go there for dinner again. Then we were sure that we would get nice and fresh seafood again! Thank you, Tasos! It was great!More
