Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. It is supposed to be a good place to eat fish. I decided to order sardines and cuttlefish. Well, the sardines were bitter, which is an indicator that they were not clean. The cuttlefish was extremely...salty. The wine, white wine, was sour. All in all I would not recommend this place. It seems that in the city of Preveza it is not possible to eat good (also see my evaluation of To Tempelxaneio). Probably, this explains why this restaurant is graded to be good in tripadvisor. It probably means good among the bad ones.More

It was the second time we spent one week in Preveza and during our first stay already, Treli Garida became like our living room. The extraordinary quality of the food, the warm attention the owner, the kitchen chef and all the waiters payed to us...inspired us to come again and again. They are running like weasels when the restaurant is full, because Treli Garida has many satisfied customers. Despite, they always find time for friendly words and personal reccomendations. There is almost nothing we haven't tasted from the menue: every plate deserves 5 stars, the fish is always fresh and the price more than fair. Our recommendation: The stuffed squid with feta is extroardinary. And don't forget to have an ouzo or a tsipouro as appetizer and to finish your meal with the high-class metaxa!More

We have eaten here 3 time with our family in Preveza. It is the best seafood, very fresh and cooked perfectly on charcoal. Other dishes like Greek Salad, wild mountain greens, tzatziki and beet roots shouldn’t be missed. Shrimp with pasta looked so good on...other tables. Last time just my wife and I went. Hard to get a table on a Saturday, full of families. By far the most popular place with locals. The owner recognized us from our visit with the family a few days prior and we were seated. The waiters were racing about and serving food as fast as it could come out of the kitchen. I don’t think this place deserves three $ signs. It is very inexpensive for seafood. For 31 euros we had shrimp, Greek Salad, beets, Tzatziki and beer.More

The recommendation of the restaurant in Preveza city, Crazy Shrimp or Treli Garida was spot on! At Treli Garida they have these awesome, huge, tasty shrimps fished directly from the Ionian Sea or maybe the Ambracian Gulf. The owner of Treli Garida was very kind...to me and was offering cheese made by cow milk instead of feta cheese, as they blend the cheese into the pasta. Every time he supplied me with a portion of parmesan cheese which fits perfectly with all the delicious flavours of the meal. He also facilitated for cutlery in the hotel where I was staying. One of the evenings, I ordered a complementary salad, one of the waiters was kind to suggest to me to make half a portion as a full would be too much. Al the staff were very attentive, and they were always friendly in their approach, even though I (unfortunately) do not speak Greek yet. Please keep in mind that the sign of the restaurant was written in Greek only, so looking for a sign with Crazy Shrimp or Treli Garida in Greek is an excellent idea. Honestly, I would kill someone (not literally) to have another portion of the shrimp pasta and the salad. This combination is perfection. ευχαριστώ πολύMore

Great taverna in heart of Preveza. The shrimp with pasta, grilled octopus, sardines, fried shrimp and Greek salad was all amazing! Very busy on a Saturday evening, so service is a bit chaotic, but if you are patient it is worth it! Highly recommend!

Went there for dinner last night and wished we had gone somewhere else :( Food was mediocre… service was terrible. My son had the spaghetti with prawns which tasted very sweet ..I had the grilled vegetables which must have been fried instead of grilled as...they were very oily / greasy :( Grilled calamari was as tough as leather …Steamed mussels very oily … Unfortunately I can’t recommend this restaurant.More

Have been to Preveza around 5-6 times and this restaurant never disappoints! We believe it to be the best restaurant in Preveza. And for our last stay we have been eating there almost every evening. Service is great- the waiters are always smiling and friendly,...food is delicious! Prices are low low low. You can order half portions there too! We love the fried zucchini, fried eggplant, their greek salad is delicious and so much better then other places that we have tried- I think they use the best ingredients available. All in all we highly recommend this treasure!More

a rainy cold evening- taken there by close firends- ambience, communication, presentation, quality (the chorta salad overboiled) and the wine not particularly characterful. Setting that aside the eatery is excellent, I do not know about the fair value since were were honoured and 'red-carpeted'. Sthe...grilled squid and sepia were well above the common mark and the small koutsomoura fried and grilled were to write home about. The tables were filled with nice folks too.More

Η τρελή Γαριδα είναι το πιο τέλειο φαγητό με φιλική ατμόσφαιρα και τους ιδιοκτήτες και σερβιτόρους με σεβασμό στον πελάτη. Συγχαρητήρια!!! The crazy shrimp has extraordinary food. It’s owner is with you all the time while the staff runs to serve you. Congrats!!!

The restaurant is located inside the picturesque pedestrian small alleys of the old city part, near the seafront/marina. However since there are so many restaurants there cramped next to each other it can sometimes be a bit confusing telling which tables belong to which... We...tried several dishes, including shrimps, calamari, anchovies and can say that absolutely everything was delicious!! Definitely a restaurant to highly recommend! Staff was also very friendly, helpful and very professional. Only "downside" comes from the picturesque location itself. With the tables being cramped inside small alleys, on busy evening times it can get very crowded with whatever this means for the eating experience (people bumping into you while you eat) and also in Covid times, it's a location where it's simply impossible to keep any social distance...More

Great starters: tzatziki, saganaki, manouri cheese, greek salad and zucchini balls. On main dish we recomend delicious seafood: grilled shrimps and squids. Lamb chops = only bones.
