This particular cafe was recommended to us by local people and indeed it had an excellent (machine made) ice cream, with great flavor and texture. Coffee (iced freddos) was average-good like any other decent cafe in the city. The location was picturesque inside the narrow...alleys of the old city. Keep in mind however that it can very crowded in the evening, and since the tables are on the alleys, you can get people bumping into you as you sit, and of course in Covid times social distances are simply non existent there.More
We met the owner Panagiotis on our first day in Preveza and he couldn't have been nicer to us. We went back every day to this family run cafe for the most fabulous ice cream and cake. Interrestingly enough, restaurants here dont do desserts... ( some do, but it's never on the menu and not always any good) they do recommend each other though. And HB was recommended to us to get a dessert. We weren't disappointed, the portion was huge but...very tasty. The staff is passionate about what they do which is always nice to see.More
After a meal from next door we picked up icecream from this cafe, it was an amazing surprise that it was the richest icecream we had after traveled so many places. Highly recommend good price too €2 each.

If I am in Preveza, I will always try to go there at least once! The place is well known among western Greeks! I am not a huge dessert/pudding person but I LOVE the walnut cake pie with vanilla ice cream on top. I won’t...share...not even with my wife! The place has been there for many years and never disappoints! The ice cream is homemade from their own sheep farm and is delicious! It’s not easy to find if you don’t know it but those who do, hate me when I post a photo on Facebook of my dessert while they are out of town! Enjoy!More

After Our dinner we went to HB cafe for a very good revani with lovely ice cream. The cafe looks very nice from the inside.
If you ever visit Preveza, you have got to visit HB cafe for its exceptional sweets. I especially recommend the ravani and the walnut cake (karydopita) served with vanilla ice cream.
