I visited just for a drink and it was a relaxed pleasant interior. It is dog friendly and the menu looked interesting.

A pretty pub in a lovely setting. A high quality gastro pub with an interesting range of dishes. Our meals were excellently prepared, tasty and the servings were ample. A busy Sat evening but the service was impeccable and our meals were delivered promptly. Everyone seemed very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a short detour from the main road. Highly... Intrigued by its charm we returned for lunch the next day which turned out to be an excellent decision. Inside, the pub is very thoughtfully decorated, accentuating traditional features in this lovely country pub. We shared a scotch egg to start, and... More
Had a great lunch here today. Ham hock, celeriac and borlotti bean stew- delicious. My husband had the fish and chips- lovely white fish and very crisp batter with chips and peas.

Lovely cosy pub in quaint setting. Food, we had beef, burger and fish and chips were all excellent, if a little pricey for pub food, but we enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again when in area, when hopefully warm enough to sit outside. Staff very friendly and attentive. Recommended.

We had ordered the private dining room in advance for a gathering of friends and found a pleasant, airy room that was warm in decor. The food was delicious and... More

Went for a festive dog walk and stopped here afterwards with my family. All 4 of us were very satisfied with our meals. I had the homemade burger and it was very tasty, they also have a lot of good beers/lagers on tap. Would 100% recommend. Little gem
