We have tried to get a table here a few times when visiting Treguier which is fairly local to us because of the location (on main square) and reviews. We were told to come back later as they were full, which was no problem. We returned to the now half empty restaurant just after 1.20pm. It took a while for... More

Stayed in Treguier for two nights at a hotel with a fine dining menu. I prefer steak, pizza and beers so went in search of beers ( and steak or pizza if necessary). Found the bar next the church and tried local Philomena beer, v.good. No one eatjng and thought would have to go elsewhere then realised food didn't start... More

We visited the wonderful Treguier Saturday market and decided to stop for lunch Le Vieilles Poutres is located in the main square of Treguier, with outside tables within the square, overshadowed by the magnificent Cathedral. Friendly and energetic staff - my boys had burgers (to my shame) - but far superior to the plastic fair on offer from the major... More

13 of us arrived at lunch time and enjoyed the excellent set menu and drinks in this lovely square in front of the cathedral. A warm sunny day and staff with a sunny disposition made this a great occasion!

Lovely small bistro, nice atmosphere. Food excellent, I had brochette of scallops, perfectly cooked. The pizzas are lovely as well. Staff very efficient and friendly. Will visit again. Real gem!

After finding some restaurants closed (annual holidays) our group of four ended our search for lunch in the top corner of the main square in Treguier. Most of the tables were occupied, although some diners kindly finished their coffees to give us their table. We selected our lunch orders from the 'menu de jour' - two courses at 11.90 euros.... After a long day, found this welcoming, understated brasserie on the corner of the main square in Tréguier. Very efficient, welcoming without any pretention and utterly fabulous thin-crust pizza, with generous toppings. Two large pizzas, two drinks, 25€.

Great location, eat outside in the square. Good , honest bistro food. Nice set meal. Charcuterie entree, classic steak ( ask for a sauce!) and nice creme brûlée. Pickets of wine ( not a world beater!) A lovely afternoon with friends, classic french bistro cooking
