As always eating at Paulo’s is a great experience. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. Went with friends on a Monday night. We were not rushed whist we had a good catch up. The food was amazing, we all decided to go with...the chicken supreme. It was delicious, we were warned it would take about 25 minutes, happy to wait knowing our food was freshly cooked. For dessert we shared the apple and custard calzone between the 3 of us. It was delicious. The service was excellent, our waiter was very charming, attentive and friendly.More

Best in Borehamwood

Absolutely Fabulous

My husband and I have a friend coming next weekend and were looking for somewhere to take her for dinner. We live locally but had not visited Paolo's before and she, like us, likes Italian food, so we thought we would give it a go....Whilst there, we were there, Paulo asked if we would leave a review as they don't want to lose their rating as the best Italian restaurant in Hertfordshire. I don't think they have any worries there - the food, service, decor and the ambience are exceptional and I had the best chocolate brownie I have ever had. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. Can't wait till next weekend!More

Paolo's Italian Kitchen keeps getting better

Been before and it was excellent but this time took some new residents to Elstree to Paolo's. All agreed it was great. Not often you go out to eat and nearly everyone choose the liver and mash but it was superb, so soft. They all...loved the decor, even down to the way the small plates for the garlic bread seem to match the very interesting Italian ceramic lighting.More

Outstanding restaurant

Very good, very original

Borehamwood’s little bit of Italy.

What a place !!!! The food is delicious. A very good Negroni. The staff are brilliant. You know when you find a restaurant and you look at the menu and you are suddenly in a dilemma because you don’t know what to choose. Simply Brilliant

We managed to get a table on Saturday lunchtime whilst away on a family trip… and how happy we were. It had been recommended to us but didn’t expect the experience we had…. Simply Brilliant…. Service was superb, food amazing (I had the seafood spaghetti...special… blown away.. exceptional)… wine was excellent as well. Wonderful Italian restaurant.

What a wonderful restaurant. We celebrated a birthday at this beautiful restaurant. The staff were absolutely delightful. Chef Paolo came to our table himself to take our order and to accommodate any special requests! Our server- Raz was extremely professional and warm. It is clear...that the staff there have pride at what they do. The food was delicious - classic Italian dishes with a modern twist. We will definitely come again soon! Wonderful food and service

Wonderful service (thanks Raz) and really tasty food. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals (pasta and pizzas). Will def be returning. Clean, friendly, modern and great food. (And plugs for phone chargers by some tables too. Nice touch). No complaints.
